Enenra, I have a problem deleting your Mod. I needed it to finish the story, but now I would like to have the fog back or, if possible, reduced somehow, but not completely gone forever. Could you please tell me what to do? I will now play without fog. I have installed the "Save Editor". But I don´t know what I have to change to make my savegames loadable again.
Ah yes yes yes, THIS along with the less traffic mod, and NESA, has made the game playable so far in all areas but for ones with huge asteroids in the area. Not sure what can be done about those massive rocks, and the thousands of small ones...hint hint, but I love all these tweaks upping my frames ever so steadily! (Running an old machine with a 9800 GTX+)
I don't actually want all of the fog removed, I would like an extension to lower the levels of all fog, like the ones surrounding the first campaign gate, that's a separate particle cloud compared to the fog that doesn't cause serious fps drop in some sectors.
No, the stardust is the "streaks" of particles you're seeing when you move. The "fog" are the nebulae you see in certain parts of the sector (that can also be harvested by ships).
wait... so if don't see it i wont be able to harvest or to find it? because this mod really helps with performance also if i disable it i cant load save...says different version...is it normal?
1) Harvesting. This should still be possible since the nebulae weren't removed completely but just made invisible. But that's pending some investigation.
2) Savegames. This is an issue with all mods. The problem is that references to mods are saved in your savegame. There is a save editor available to remove those again so that you can load your savegame without it. I'm planning on adding a note regarding that to the readme etc.

enenra, would 0.5 give us reduced fogs?

extension is aktivatet
same with the particles
make sure it is \x_rebirth\extensions\NoFog_V0.1\content.xml for example
when i wrote assets .... <klick> ahhh
expand the whole NoFog into extensions ^^
