   I have this on Steam, and I copied the autodebug and enable console, it isn't letting me enable it, or let me start a new game with the debug mode.

      Did you add it in Steam-> Xcom game Properties?? Add it under "Set launch options".

   Thanks for the -autodebug tip, I couldn't get -noStartupMovies working before when I didn't have that.
   
   Maybe worth mentioning -review so people don't get the developer startup screen?
   
   If anyone's looking, here's my full set of command line switches:
   -allowconsole -autodebug -noRedScreens -noStartupMovies -review

      ah cool was wondering about redscreens seem to get them alot with console cheers :)
