    I'll get straight to the point.
    Loved the mod idea so i reinstaled the game today and instaled a bunch of mods including this one.
    Problem is when I gave my 2 heavies the ADVENT CANNON there where no granades in the game.
    Gave them both the cannon and launcher, no nades.
    Gave them only the cannon,no nades.
    Any idea did this happen before or something.

    Also all my other units use Advent weapons and they work normaly.

    Nwm it was actualy a bug from the mod Hidden potentials.

    Aw yiss! These are so much cooler than XCOM's weapons. Downloading and endorsing! =D

    I really think XCOM's weaponry looks quite terrible in comparison. It's a shame that they have to change so much in appearance (Ballistic > Plasma). Being a "limited resources operation" it would have made more sense to retrofit the ballistic styling by attaching different pieces instead of changing the look altogether.

    It makes more sense that you would have both old XCOM weapons and stolen (or recovered) ADVENT weapons too.

    I don't know. Just seems like we (the players and modders) always come up with better ideas lol. Yes, I complain a lot about aspects of games, I know lol. But I can't help seeing what could have been.

    EDIT: In fact, thinking about it, is it possible to do something similar to the Ballistic weapons? The best-looking in my opinion. Same as what you've achieved here with making one model upgrade through the tiers.

    EDIT2: Rather than create another post, thought I'd add to this one. When you enable this mod, should the weapons show up straight away or do you have to research them first? Not sure if I'm being dense.

      the thing is, when you play the first XCOM, you know that each ennemies you killed, they weapons Auto-destroy themselves, so presumably it does the same in XCOM 2, that's why in the game we actually never had any ADVENT weapons versions (until this mod of course)

    I wonder if there is a long-barreled version of the plasma lance and if so, what would i change in the INI to activate it?

    hmm i wish we had editable ini files for weapons, there is only advent SMG ini file for edit right now.

    Finally! been waiting for such a mod from the release day of xcom 2! thanks alot!
    I also do have a suggestion! it will be great if u can either use or make sniper rifle from Advent sniper mod! the advent sniper rifle looks more snipersih in that mod!
    or at least it would be great if u would increase length of your sniper rifle body! and reduce its body height to make it looks more like an sniper rifle
