Walter White stared at the sky in the Aryan meth lab, thinking it was finally over. But it wasn't. The Elders had been watching him since he stepped foot into Gus Fring's superlab. They would need a man like Walter, the Elders thought, to help with their experiments once they ruled earth. So as the end came for Walter, the Elders' war with earth began. They swooped in and took Walter, healed him and put him to work on their behalf. Only later, after he would find Walter Jr. in one of the city centers, would Walter plan their escape to join the resistance.
