Introduction

Personally I felt that the soldier were gaining the promotion way too fast and easy. As also I was feeling frustrated by starting a new campaign with soldiers from my own character pool and being not able to choose a specific class that I wanted for each one of them, mostly by using custome class mods. Even with conventional weapons, the soldiers were too powerful at high ranks and they even got high ranks before the developing of advanced weapons.


Description

Basicly this mod increases the experience requirements as also increases the amount of kills required for every rank and decreases the bonus experience from missions. Also slightly increases the HP and Hack (only for Specialist) stats gain per promotion. Soldiers won't gain promotions with the first kill. In this manner, the GTS training becomes quite important to use.


Recomendations

It will feel better with the addition of other mods that add engineers at the start of a campaign in order to fastly build the GTS and train the custom characters to the specific desired class for each of them. As also would be better the use of a mod that increase the amount of enemies per group and the ability to call for reinforcements.


Results

No random class promotion after the first mission.
Be able to choose your custom soldier's class after the first mission, throught GTS.
More focus about GTS soldier training.
No early powerful soldier skills and stats.
No early access to GTS upgrades.
More missions and kills are required to level up the soldiers.
More action and dificulty combining this with other mods as I mentioned in Recomendations.
Slower Leader Pack progression.
No early loot increased.
