Introduction

Personally I felt that the soldiers were gaining the promotion way too fast and easy. As also I was feeling frustrated by starting a new campaign with soldiers from my own character pool and being not able to choose a specific class that I wanted for each one of them. They even got high ranks before the developing of advanced weapons.


Description

Basicly this mod increases the amount of kills required for every rank. Soldiers won't gain promotions with the first kill. In this manner, the GTS training becomes quite important to use. Also weapons slightly boosted. The Specialist hack bonus is slightly increased. The amount of enemies. The timed loots are increased aswell. The starting supplies and intel are increased and the starting soldier roster is increased.


Features

  • All weapons are increased by one point.
  • All weapon's ammo are increased by one point.
  • All solider's mobility is increased to 14.
  • Swords have better accuracy and critical chance. Tier 2 and 3 have slight piercing.
  • Vektor and Sniper rifles have critical chance and aiming increased, as also piercing points.
  • All grenades have one more point of damage, range and radius.
  • Rulers give resources upon death.
  • Spark armors increase armor and not HP.
  • Ranks required more kills. Diferent amount for each dificulty.
  • Rank titles have been changed.
  • Medikits charges increased.
  • Rookies wear the Resistance armor.
  • Promoted soldiers automatically wear the Kevlar armor.
  • Squad increased to 6.
  • Specialist has Haywire Protocol at first rank.
  • Specialist has Run and Gun ability in the Combat Hacker tree.
  • Haywire Protocol cooldown to 3.
  • Aid Protocol slightly increased from 20 to 30.
  • Capacitor Discharge has two charges.
  • Hunter weapon's damage increased by 1, slightly critical chance and aim increased and armor piercing applied.
  • Frost bomb range and radius slightly increased.
  • Spark's weapon damages slightly increased by one and Spark's rifle has armor piercing. Also ammo increased by 1.
  • Reaper, Skirmisher and Templar have one utility slot.
  • Research projects have higher requirements and time increased. Some projects have new requirements.
  • Laser Sight Upgrade has been increased to 10/15/20.
  • Scope Upgrade has been increased to 10/15/20.
  • Hair Trigger Upgrade has been increased to 10/15/20.
  • Repeater Upgrade has been increased to 10/15/20.
  • Psi and Gremlin attacks slightly increased by 1 point.
  • Sparkbit hack bonus slightly increased.
  • Advent Stunlancers melee attack slightly reduced by 1 point.
  • Slightly reduced Hack Defense for Turrets, MECs, Andromedons and Sectopods.
  • Lost pods slightly increased by 1.
  • Increased accuracy for Wristblade and Shard Gauntlet.
  • GTS construction time and power requirement are reduced. Its cost and mantenance are increased.

Chosen stats are further increased, are ment to be fought with more than four soldiers. ADVENT Offiders, Mutons, MECs and Sectopods HP are increased. Hack Defense has been increased but still a bit lower than vanilla values. UFO Chases are increased. Added Support for the Unofficial Long War SMG and Laser Packs. Rookies inventory slot is increased to 2. Magnectized, Laser and Plasma research times are increased. Laser and Plasma weapons damage are increased to 1 to follow the same original criteria on this mod. Experimental Ammo time is reduced and now cost supplies. Experimental Armor time is reduced, its cost is higher and requires a Nanoscale vest. Wraith suit time reduced, costs more resources and requires a Spider suit. WAR armor time reduced, costs more resources and requires an EXO armor. Rulers loot format changed. Enemy pods further increased.

GTS costs more as aso its mantenance, Power Relay and its upgrades construction times have been increased as also their mantenace. Laboratory and its upgrades construction costs have been increased and required Intel. Resistance Comms and Ring costs have been increased and require Intel. Alien Biotech requires Intel. Chosen Weapons research require Intel, among the other required resources previously implemented. All Chosen have been buffed as also a mistake originally done, about Warlock for veteran and legend dificulties, has been corrected. Starter resources have been greatly reduced, still are slightly higher than the vanilla values. Lost pods have been increased. Some Advent and Alien pods have been increased. Soldier Ranks have been slightly increased from the last update 09/08.

Purifier range reduced changed implemnted, which was missing from the last update. The duration of all Covert Mission have been increased as also each dificulty has its own diferent duration as also increased the possible max duration in some mission that didn't have a max duration diference.

Grenade Laucnher additional range and radius have been removed. GTS. Laboratory and Power Relay have been tweaked. Scanning Sites time reduced. Regional contact time reduced. Alien construction time has been reduced. Purifier range has been reduced.

Rank requirements slightly reduced and still higher than vanilla. Some TECH requirements slightly reduced from the previous update. Hack Defense slightly reduced. Lost pods slightly increased. Other enemy pods are slightly increased, which were not increased on previous version.

Applied the missing sniper rifle piercing points. Research projects requirement and time increased. Constructions tweaked. Weapon upgrades tweaked.
