What about adding a variant with https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=623155292 and https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=622778878 as elements? It seems to me that that makes for a souped up version of this mod. I am trying to avoid workshop mods and I would like to see certain mods consolidate anyhow. Conflicts are starting to become an issue.
The thought process on this proposed variant is anytime you break conceal you attract enemies but you have a chance to go loud with an alpha strike and wipe out a pod - thereby staying concealed. Anytime your ambush fails however, youre gonna get added enemies.
Wow! Thought I was going to wipe on the second mission. Way better than before and much more intense. Feels closer to the tension and fear of the original XCOM UFO Defense. Thank you Quaro!
I also hate trying to flank and waking up more aliens. It seems more like they don't see me, but i see them, which somehow automatically wakes them up, which can be annoying and doesn't make any F'ing sense. Thank god for save scumming
