Fixed bug that could cause GWS items to disappear in some cases.
Added INI options to modify rookie training lag behind regular soldiers and ability to turn off individual training projects.
The Advanced Training Regimen mod allows your rookies to quickly catch up with your main squad.
The mod adds a series of projects to the Guerilla Training School which unlock based on your highest soldier rank. Each project adds a additional rank to a soldier that you train via the normal solder slot in the school.
The intent is to make XCOM more durable and allow you to lose more soldiers without feeling that the entire game will be lost as a result; XCOM is, after all, meant to be a bit of a meat grinder. Please keep in mind that this mod will reduce the difficulty of the game somewhat, so in order to preserve the curve you may wish to download a difficulty increasing mod or two as well.
In order to alter the training function in the school, this mod currently overrides headquarters operations and may be incompatible with other mods that also want to do this. I am currently looking for a better way of handling this.
You may, if you choose, change the costs of the GTS projects, define how far behind the main squad newly-trained rookies fall, and add a will penalty to rookies levelled in this way by editing the INI file.
This mod presently overrides the XComGameStateContext_HeadquartersOrder file and is virtually certain to be incompatible with any other mod that does so.
