    I updated the ABA main file to the current version 1.06 + Hotfix.

    I also updated the All The Enemies plugin to it's current version, including the compatibility lines for the Long War Alien Pack.

    Hello!First of all thank you for the mod, i've been using it for a very long time!
    Endorsed and tracked!
    Hope this won't drag to long or take to much of your time!

    Decided to re-mod the game and finish it a 4th time on Legend!
    I have close to 100 mods, including all the enemy mods out there.
    I've managed to get a stable experience and modified some of the mods to suit my tastes, got a little idea of how the mods work.
    My problem now is that i find the game a little to easy for my tastes (Mid tier weapons and armor)as i've spent quite some time on this little game and learned alien abilities and tactics by now.

    Is it possible you can give some instructions on how to modify ABetterADVENTBetterPodsPLUS so that pods are composed of 5-8, 6-8 or 7-8 enemies? (Yes i'm using the long war perk's and modifiers so my squad composition is maximum of 8 and i want a fair challenge)

    I have a slight idea on how to do it but i really don't want to mess out the current balance of mods with guesswork, straight from the horse's mouth is better, as it were.
    I have some knowledge of using notepad++ and some PC know-how and i'm guessing it's modifying some numbers but it could be something more than that.If you could release some info on how to make pods bigger it would be greatly appreciated.

      No.
      Better Pods adds references to ABA aliens to some missions. For example, it adds a Chryssalid Queen to the Psi Gate mission. Without ABA installed, stuff can ... break.

      I do have two mods called "XCOM: Better Pods" and "XCOM; Better Pods Plus" on the Steam Workshop that work with vanilla, but those
      a) are old
      b) no longer supported
      So you'd be on your own with them.

    Hi... I "try" to make a mod focusing on making the tactical gameplay more action-loaded (Lots of changes) and u start with just 3 soliders... now all classes just have normal abilities but different promoting stats and the weapons have the class-abilities, so all classes can use almost all weapons... and some other funny things...
    But even on legendary its still a bit overpowered..
    so without a mod like yours it would be way to boring..
    i had to change some values for a wider range of weapon damage in yours so my question ist now if i could upload a mod pack with your mod in it for testing intentions?

    Im not a Programmer... but its already working so far
    Its still Alpha and i make my first longterm play test in a few hours....

      You are free to do with my mod whatever you want to.
      If you want to make your own version and republish that, i am fine with that. Want to use some enemies and include them in your mod? Go ahead.

      But don't expect any Tech Service

      Yes, that will be done. I want to work a little hotfix for a current issue with Beastmasters into ABA first, then i will do that. Tomorrow or the day after, i'd say.

    Hey man,

    I've had a few months break from x com 2 and decided to come back after seeing all these new mods xD

    Basically I wanted to know what pod pack you recommend to use with a base squad size of 6 selected in lwtoolbox, lwperkpack for new soldier classes and finally legendary iron man difficulty .

    my first time using this mod and would like to save myself some trouble of restarting campaigns to get the right feel.

      Sorry for the late answer, i don't really check Nexus often.

      Sounds like i'd use the regular Better Pods with that setup, but you probably alredy figured that out...

    Hey! Love the Mod. I am just returning to Xcom2 after a couple months away. I noticed there are some new LW mods like the tools and perk pack. Is your mod compatible with these new ones? Thanks again!

      Yeah sure, no compatibility problems.

      The only mod of mine that has some compatibility concerns is the Better Pods plugin, i suggest reading the mod description on Steam for more infos.
