WARNING: New voice packs, as of now, crash the game when previewing them at the armory. Another modder contacted Firaxis, and it seems it's on their end and they are working on it. Until then, just don't preview the voices on the armory (you can do it safely on the Character Pool) and you'll be safe.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to the humble XCOM International Voices Pack! We are 2 modders, Seth Norris and Fareang, who as some have already done, are trying to bring back the 2 former XCOM: Enemy Unknown voices into XCOM 2. That's both Russian and Polish.

As of now, the mod consists of:

RUSSIAN:
- Male Voices: 1, 2.
- Female Voices: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

POLISH:
- Male Voices: 1, 2.
- Female Voices: 1, 2.

We'll be updating soon with the rest of the Russian and Polish voices.

That, though, is just the beginning. As you may have heard if you're into the subject, the voice files for those two languages are incomplete, missing most of the lines of the new XCOM2 mechanics. We want to fix that. But for that, we need your help. And I think you all know where this is going.

We call out to all voice actors, radio speakers or people who think they have a chance at recording nice voices, and who are interested in XCOM 2 and the possibility of putting their voice in the game.

That's not just Russian and Polish people (though those would be highly appreciated, for the sake of completing the missing voices from the already existing packs), but also Asian languages (which are sadly not represented at all in the game) and any language you, as a native speaker, would like to find in the game.

If you're interested, email us at [email protected] telling us a bit about yourself and sending us a couple of recordings so we can hear your voice. We are hyped at the chance of doing this project, but as it's already been said, there's not much we can do without your help! Nice dubbing, everyone!

PD: Bear in mind you will have to do the recordings yourselves, so you should own or have access to some decent-quality microphone so that the voices end up more or less at the same level as the standard voice acting of the game. There's only so much you can do with postprocessing and editing.
