Turning Beginner VO back on (6 comments)

   At the begining of the game i turned off the beginner VO, thinking it would only remove the obvious tips, but it seems to mute all the game chatter, which makes it quite... Well, every mission feels the same.
   
   Is there a way to turn the VO back in mid campaign? I really dont want to start over again.

      This cannot be easily reverted because InitNarrative is called only once - when you start new game. But it does not turn off "all game chatter". You can check what is considered NewbieMoment in DefaultNarrative.ini (in ..XEW\XComGame\Config).

      Check priv inbox. I have quickly written a little "fixer". Might help - requires no hex-edits.

      The only idea that crossed my mind was to edit all the newbie moments to all be one instance of VO, though I have yet to test it.

      Thank you, yeah, it works, sorry it took me so long to answer, took me a while to find a new enemy since im not playing as much as i would like.
