'giveperk baseroll' does reroll the base positions for steam vents and excavated spots... but it stacks a second satellite uplink and access lift on top of the existing ones, causing a +21 increase in power consumption. So you will have 42/32 power used.
It's not all bad, you still get the satellite capacity for the doublestacked uplinks! They do not count as adjacent, though :(
Simply doesn't work. I don't have long war installed, I tried it on EW and get the failed to patch upk error. version 1 does work but doesn't have the commands I want to use.
For anyone else running into this issue in the future: Choosing version 1 under "old files" when downloading this mod. Version 2 seems to add stuff specific to LW that won't be compatible with a EW install.
Thanks so much for this, been desperately looking for a way to change soldier's gender and nationality, and this mod doesn't even show up on google, I stumbled on it by accident. Works fine in LW1.0, installed via mod manager.
As stated by another user below, the "giveperk stat roll" and "giveperk stat default" commands cause ctds. Long War 1.0, More Commands v3
Still a great mod, saved me loads of trouble
EDIT: Another issue...every time you use the baseroll command the upkeep of the starting satellite uplink and access lift are added again. So even rolling just once will saddle you with an extra $40 per month and power costs that you can never get rid of. Very unfortunate, that was such a useful command...
Hello everybody, I wanted to go ahead and update this mod and make a post to let everyone know. We have uploaded our latest version, the one we use to develop/test our overhaul project Ascension, which has several new commands for everyone to play around with. This is all the commands we intend to add for now but if anyone has suggestions for things that will help then please share and we will look into possibly adding them. We will try to keep up with this mod better moving forward but the majority of our attention is on our Ascension overhaul and helping out Ucross with his rebalance mod. Hope everyone finds this useful!
Sorry about the terribly late response, this is a mod that we utilize for testing so we haven't been keeping track of it as well as we should have. You must have the Command Console activated which you can find what's necessary to do that on the Long War modpage under the files tab. Beyond that you just use PatcherGUI as KatyPerry7744 stated already. The newest version has now been uploaded so there are even more commands to utilize. Hope the mod helps you as much as it has us!
So how does this work? Do we need to download any other mods for this to work? It's been awhile since I've modded XCOM so I don't remember if we need a prerequisite mod to activate console first or not. >_<
