Can you please explain why I am seeing a metric s*** ton of changes to the LW Default Game Ini with your name on this? You have seriously compromised the difficulty and fidelity of the mods difficulty with your changes.
EDIT: In case anyone else was unaware, his "Cinematic changes" file SIGNIFICANTLY decreases the difficulty of LongWar! Shame on the creature for calling it cinematic - I had grabbed these thing it was going to be changes to the game graphically/aesthetically, not difficulty!
Looks like that optional "cinematic" version introduces a lot of changes to few files, which is rather outside of stated scope of this mod. Probably useful for those who play with "cinematic mod" in Second wave option? I don't know, I haven't tried that.
I recommend installing manually by replacing ONE text file section with updated list of nicknames by using something like Notepad++, that way no other changes will be introduced.
Do you really need to start a new campain for it to work? I already started and Long War is quite, well, long. I wouldn't need it to change already assigned nicknames but only work on yet to be promoted soldiers.
It should support installing mid-game, I tried that and it's alright. From my understanding, it just increases the pool of possible nicknames for new soldiers. So, unnamed rookies will get new nickname from the increased pool and already named trained soldiers will see no changes.
Installing this directly (by overwriting XComGame.int) disables all the new 2nd wave options in XCOM Long War b15e. Still have to see whether manually copying them instead helps or not.
Manually replacing the names using a text editor does seem to work. Hope you update the mod for LW b15e compatibility. Its awesome.

I have Long War 15f3 installed currently on my computer. I am curious if this name list is compatible?
If not; how do I go about getting all these awesome nicknames in my database?
Let me know asap!
