@Xax it might have something to do with the weapon you're using. If you're using a regular laser rifle or plasma rifle and not a sniper rifle, those aren't enabled with the sniper properties. I'm considering changing that. Which weapon are you trying to use? Also, I don't think my mod would affect the deco at all, sounds unrelated.
I'm not sure if this is a bug related to the mod or not, but my sniper (a Colonel) has suddenly lost her abilities, such as squad sight (can still see aliens that other squad members can see, but can't target them) and even head shots (the icon is missing from the action bar). These abilities are listed for the sniper, but they're not available to use.
Also, and this is a very minor thing, but the armor deco frequently defaults back to "1" if I have it set to "2."
@Taikaru: 1) I believe you wouldn't get the achievement for a classic ironman win, no. There are other mods out there that nerf Classic, if that's your thing, but I wanted to leave that difficulty alone for those that wanted to tackle it seperately.
2) Those two specific features should be available on any difficulty but some features are only available on new soldiers/games. That may be the case with these two.
@Insufferable Smartypants: The UI doesn't support adding a third row of small items, so you wouldn't be able to access it. It doesn't nullify the 2 grenades class ability, though.
Does giving all armors the ability to equip 2 small items effectively nullify the Support class's Major rank ability of carrying 2 items?Or does a support class get a 3rd now?
Also, is there any way to run this mod with one that detects abduction/terror UFO's before they hit, like Arietatray's Balance Mod?
Thanks for making the mod! The changes you made seem the most agreeable of the various balance mods I've seen. However, I had a few questions:
1) Since it uses the "Easy" setting, if I start a new game on Ironman, I presume I won't be able to get the achievement for Classic Ironman win?
2) I installed the game (verified it installed by finding the xcom-original.exe) but on my Classic save, there are still the same number of item slots and psi testing slots. Are all these features only accessed by starting a game on "Easy?"
