Update 1.1: Added compatibility with "Ship Traders Sell Paint Mods". In addition to choosing "Matte Black" as the default theme, you can now buy paintmods.

Now there is also a white variant: Matte White Paintjob

Description

This adds two new themes (also called default paintjobs). Why two? Because the Elite Sentinel/Vanguard uses a secondary color on its wings and I couldn't decide between grey or more black. The two Elite variants are the only ships I have found that have this secondary color as a build in "feature" so prominently displayed. To see the difference check the images of the Elite (images 2 and 3). There are also some Teladi ships like the Manorina (Gas) and many of their L/XL ships that have some green or light greenish parts no matter which paint you use. (Update: Egosoft fixed the Manorina).

The themes are named: "0 Matte Black 1" and "0 Matte Black 2". Since the default paints are being sorted alphabetically, the "0" makes sure they are sorted first before all the vanilla paints. They were originally named with a ZZ in front to ensure they were sorted after the vanilla paints - but before my "All paintmods as Default Paint" mod. However since I changed the naming in that mod I changed it here too.

Installation
Manual installation only! I don't use Vortex and as such don't create mods for it.
Just put the folder that is inside the .zip-file into the extensions folder located inside the game's install directory.

Deinstallation
Just choose another theme, disable the extension and delete. If you don't choose another theme the game will default to paintjob 0001 - a "nice" red and green. While some small things - like you having these unlocked - is saved to the save file, these mentions are removed the next time you save with the mod disabled so it should be safe according to my testing.

Credits
I have to thank Skeletalfish for his guide on how default themes are added.
The player logo you see me using is not from me - it was shared by Egosoft forum user "Pares" here (scroll down to find it) as a logo for Val Selton from the Young Gun start.
