While this initially seems to be working in v6.0, certain things are not. For example, bailing pilots are destroying ship equipment when they leave, which is vanilla behaviour. I.e. I force a fully-equipped Katana Corvette to bail, yet I can clearly see that two of its main guns are now missing along with one turret.
I'm seeing this as well. Additionally, Vortex is claiming the mod is redundant and wants to disable it. I have the "IncreasedBailChance" mod installed as well, but Vortex claims "True Capture" is redundant even when the other one is disabled.
Interesting. Maybe one of the hotfixes changed something. I last tested after release of 6.0 and didn't find any conflicting changes, hence there was no update. Seems i need to check once more *sigh*
Hey once more - I've checked the xpaths and didn't find any issues. Can you please make sure you have the latest version of the mod? If the issue persists, can you please go into detail what you're doing/expecting but doesn't work? Ty!
Mh.. seems i forgot to upload the latest version 5.10 from 2022-04-08. Not sure but iirc nothing but some comments were changed. Still, uploaded it now - maybe just for the sake of completeness tho =)
Egosoft's released pirate DLC but forgot to actual make pirate game style viable. This and recycle ship mods make it possible to play as a pirate warlord. Thank you!
Thanks for your mod, I knew it existed, but I had a hard time finding it. I finally began using the pirate mod, and it gets annoying really quick that all we gate after making people bail is an empty husk that cost as much to repair and refit as buying a new ship.
Yup, imo the whole vanilla bail and capture logic feels like a waste of processing power and is an awful time sink at best. Before making the mod I was so disappointed with the remaining value of captured vessels that I ended up blowing empty ships to pieces, since watching it go pop was more satisfying than acutally boarding and selling it.
Regarding pirate mod: which one? I always missed the "Empty your cargo or die!" option on the radio... and that they tell me "I'm not talking to you!" once they're hostile is a real bummer too, since I'd like to shout some more threats in order to make them give up cargo or their entire ship. Classic piracy is pretty much impossible in vanilla X4, sadly.
Your position is completely understandable. Thank you for updating the mod. Tough, consider when you stop playing to re-label the mod as a modder's resource.
Not working as of 4.0 Beta 5. Small change in the notifications file. Will upload temporary fix when I get to my other workstation. Link below for modified notifications file working as of 4.10 Beta 6 https://od.lk/d/NDdfNTMzMTYxNTlf/notifications.xml

No problems at all.
If it doesn't please let me know.

Thank you for this mod!
(I haven't checked the main version, since I don't plan on using that one)
thanks for the confirmation - that's always welcome since I seldomly find the time to play much myself =)
