Anyone has soome clue, how to fix / update broken geometry that freezes playr in place? I would gladly try to fix that but i need to know, what to look for.
I'm not sure if this is a no-no or not, but here is a fixed .xml to make this ship work in the current 6.2 version. Most of these mods just need tags added to the turrets, shields, weapons, engines... I saw some comments that maybe collision meshes need fixing too, but I haven't a clue how to do that. I have tested this ship and it works with this edit.
It goes in: satyr\assets\units\size_l (Mod folder might be named something else on Steam Workshop)
I do have that issue, it works fine if piloted by NPCs though. I will say, if I sit there frozen for a time, once in a while it will let me move and take control. I assumed it was an issue with my sub par pc and it being resource heavy. I dunno. I have the same issue with at least one of the Terran Cruisers from the mod of the same name too.
Neat Design. Always nice to see something boxy, but somewhat sleek. Most scifi seems to pick an extreme: aerodynamic aesthetics or practical boxes. You proved that a flying box can be way cooler than a car from the '80s. I tweaked the xmls a bit. Brought back the extra shield -total cheater, me- and reenabled the internal S ship storage (but changed the macro from gen_s_01 to gen_s_frigate_01 to limit it to 1 internal S ship instead of 40 -a mod I use works better with an internal slot). While I was at it, I fixed the equipment tags for x4 v6.0. Haven't tried to hop aboard and fly it myself, but seems to work, so far. I am useless with Blender, so I just fix the tags on abandoned or outdated mods. Pretty sure something horrible will happen eventually, but have been lucky so far. Thanks again for sharing this.

This an Excellent Ship! I LOVE IT. I now use it as my MAIN FLAG SHIP. It has an very interesting bug when used with the MORE ROOMS MODS. Sometimes the Captain Quaters and other rooms Disappear after you Dock at Space Station. Other times the Captain Quaters are in another spot of the ship.
OTHER WISE I LOVE THE SHIP EVEN MORE THAN THE CYCLOPS MOD. Hopefully you will have an update to fix the rooms issue.. The main reason I switch from the Cyclops was because of the additional rooms you get; however, some of the Rooms are now gone.

Please consider if that is posible to add more medium turrets (like 2x hahahah). In the sense of make the ship more independent of s ships in order to defend the ship, but that' all.
whats there to not understand? i got other things to do and this isnt my job. i dont get payed for this. in this specific case i was sick and mostly in bed. the little time i spend on the pc i was playing games or working on my split superfreighter.
modifyable storage would require additional files. i wont promise there will be one but ill keep it in mind.
Thanks - highly appreciated if you find the time to create the storage files. It’s really a nice ship for its purpose and I plan a whole fleet swarming like piranhas eating alive enemy stations ?
i actually like the design of the pella and i think it could be easily "argonized" but there is no 3d model out there and im not confident to build it from scratch. so most likely no, there wont be a pella^^
