Not working anymore? Won't show up in Extensions list like the other mods do. I've been all over and can't sell them, just in case this one isn't supposed to show in the list. But nothing. I've got 6mil sitting there, unable to get that money back...
Yes it was! But I figured it out. On Linux, CaPiTaLiZaTiOn matters. I had to lowercase every folder and file within, to get my Linux version of X4 to actually use the mod.
Other than on Windows machines, the file system here can have both a file "Example.txt" and "example.txt" AND one "exAmple.txt" in the same folder, they won't replace each other. The mod needs to match the vanilla file names, including capitalization, or else it's just another file that the game's just gonna ignore completely on Linux. That's what happened. So, working fine after lowercasing it!
There's no need to touch the ware price, it's already present and set to the value you're trying to replace it with.
If you were thinking about balancing it, the min/avg/max prices of the crafting ingredients summed together are: 292133 / 389509 / 486887. The default 1947545 price is nearly 4x the ingredient cost, which is... rather high? Maybe something like 1.2x to 1.5x the ingredients is a sane price point? I tweaked it in my own game to go from 1x -> 1.5x -> 2x.
Also I think you forgot to add the ware to pirate_trader.
Thanks for the input. I was thinking about adding a seperate download file with lower prices that fluctuate, but never got around to it. I didnt bother adding it to pirate trader since most people sell stuff at their main space station. I will take a look and make some changes hopefully in the next month.
Edit: Scratch that I had some spare time, so I made all the changes and new versions are available.

Edit: It seems to be working for me. Try checking to make sure you installed it into correct location.

ПОЧЕМУ РАЗРАБОТЧИКИ НЕ ДОБАВИЛИ ЭТО САМИ, У НИХ С ГОЛОВОЙ НЕ ВСЁ В ПОРЯДКЕ?
EDIT: Ok, didn't notice the footnote about leaving the sector.
