I doubt Mod Author is going to see this, but I can only get the menu music playing. I have no other sound mods on, and I have tried to make my own version of this mod myself using https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IwzAoA_oAc2o9BKTlkBLUuzxUMQm2n0FRq5HzY-3zrI/edit as a guide. Im not sure what Im doing wrong but if anyone has any success at modding music in this game, can you drop me a few hints please?
Ok so just found this mod even though i never play a game with the music on (stops me reading properly somehow, anyone else get that?) anyhoo, i also saw a mod that unlocks the bar even when you don'y have a shady guy mission, read below you said station music works differently and boom my ickle litttle head just started swimming with an awesome idea about a bar with awesome music playing in it which leads me to my question. How is the station music handled and where do i start when it comes to modding it? or better yet would you an actual modder be willing to undertake this insanely obvious and majorly needed mission?
For those who get error messages that the packed files are unrecognisable, corrupted etc., try launching your 7-Zip or WinRAR separately, and start unpacking from there, instead of directly from your file manager program.
I often find such files that are said to be faulty, but then they can be extracted witout problems this way.
It's a good start. It gives a Rebel Galaxy vibe to X4 which I like. Only issues I'm seeing is the music is a bit too quiet and there isn't enough of it.
Totally agreed loving the mod also got an amazing vibe of rebel galaxy really seems to suit the game though really hope the mod adds upon what its already got I would like many more :D
Im greedy this way
Maybe the mod maker would consider adding some of the tracks https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRMcXkadosW43B18ZSbYFqBnFn2myQwRw
Okay. You might check the update now. I increased the volume a little bit and added all the tracks I could pull from your list. And if you haven't yet, I would suggest you also use Winghelm's No Dark Ambient mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/x4foundations/mods/91). Station "music" is actually handled differently in the game, and that mod removes it. Nice if you don't like how the space western music mixes with the techno station sound.

Not sure if you could use it here, but it was pretty good music to listen to while flying.

If you need some more tracks https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLu3YQbDZacUs5qqbsjLy_QCh5Dae22KRj as you can never have to much space western :P
When that first battle started and the music kicked in (forget about the menu), I must've smiled ear to ear. It's the perfect vibe.
