I thought I wanted and needed the G Workaround mod and the Community Right Click mods to be updated the most but then it dawned on me this is the only mod I actually want working! Version 7 doesn't have this QoL. Help!
Thanks I made multiple post on egosoft forum for something like this to be done in the game. They didnt and the post is now locked because too many people kept adding to it.
Great mod in my opinion. For civilian ships, very helpful for quickly setting up new miners/traders then anchor them to another sector. For military ships, handy for copying patrol/protect orders. But this mod really shines where other mods add complex standing orders.
For example, I use this with "Warehouse Fleets" (another great mod). Quickly copy/pasting the time-consuming default orders, then anchoring them to stations is a great time saver.
Also, there's a neat "hidden" feature for/from this mod; being able to change subordinate standing orders. For example, if you don't want vanilla station traders and want to use a mod-trader instead (I use traders of "Warehouse Fleets"), you can assign them as traders for the station, then copy a standing order from a mod-trader. Likewise, if you want to assign fleets to protect a station but actually want them to patrol the sector instead, you can first assign them as a subordinate, then copy a ship's patrol standing order. Reduces the fleet clutter up from the lists, and make mods actually feel like a part of the game!
Wish this also copied or had an option to copy the individual instructions!
This does not seem to work for repeat orders which is the main reason I got it. I have a big set of orders in my repeat that I want to copy to all my other miners, but this plugin does not work for it. It does work for other behaviors though.
