If game is not starting with this mod, post what version you installed (packed or not) and in what location you put mod. Also, add -logfile debuglog.txt to commandline options (for steam version - go to library, right-click on game->properties->set launch options...), start game, then check debuglog.txt (it should be in Documents\Egosoft\X4\some_random_number\ folder) for any errors with FixIllegalBuy. Post them too.
FYI to all this mod still works for Kingdom's End and and 6.0.
Thanks @theLich, is there a chance to update this mod to sell SETA drives to black market traders as well? I have a truckload of those thinking that they must be sold to someone but haven't found anyone.

Worked for me on 3.10 HF1 with Split DLC installed and selling all three of those Security items to a well-dressed SCA Trader in Silent Witness XII. :)

Yep, this is with mods installed in steam folder, when I do mods from documents any mods do not get recognized, but I can try tonight and post the log. And yeah I have the folder in documents with the number (i got the log file from there), but as I said no mods getting recognized there from extensions folder. Also, all other mods that throw errors in logs I posted are working fine. Have you checked how "Sector satellites" solved this issue? or that may be completely different?
Got it, thanks for checking. So, after playing around a bit and checking everything I managed to run the game with new packed versions from documents folder. So technically it works) Got just one issue - when I do that none of my other mods get recognized, both in documents and steam folder =) EDIT - got other things working, so it's all fine working right now from documents.

Basically the issue is that size M beam weapons have no muzzle sound, because the code for the sound effect of M size beam weapons docent have a proper muzzle sound reference, but it does have a proper impact reference sound as yo can see in the link.

Have you tried to put mod in other location? If you installed it in documents location, then try X4 root folder (where X4.exe is), or put it in documents location if you installed it in X4 root folder. In any case - remove mod from previous location.
Hi, I solved it by copy the 3 dif commands to an other mods wares.xml There is something wrong with the contet.xml or with the wares.xml Maybe not the right coding (utf-8-boom) or what else.
This is the only mod I use atm and its in the extension folder of X4 root
I used the previous version with no issues in My Documents folder. Downloaded the packaged version into my X4 Directory,. and the game crashed on load. It actually kept my X4 process open even after force closing the game. Had to force the process closed as well. Switching back to Loose version works just fine.
this mod combined with signal leak hunter can add a cool exploring mechanic and make money while doing it. I increased my money from 4mil to 30mil while exploring sectors and scanning stations.
-fly to a station. -hit shift+2 to find data leaks -one of the leaks may add a mission to get unsanctioned trade offers which reveals a bar and a black market trader -goto normal trader to buy some trading wares needed for crafting the three illegal wares -goto bar and trade with black market trader -buy crafting wares -craft wares inside bar: Security Slicer, Security Bypass System and Security Decryption System -sell extra Security Slicer, Security Bypass System and Security Decryption System to black market trader (I keep about 10 each for future). -goto next station and repeat for more money.
Different black market and regular traders will offer different materials for crafting these three items, so you have to visit a bunch of stations.
I did this as I was exploring new sectors and stations and made lots of money while doing it.

Unlucky as I am, game starts but mod is not detected at extensions ingame.
Works for me with your mod seperated to user x4 and the other mods are in the root directory.
All mods together in the user/steam directory ended for me up in loading the savegame to 80% and jumping back to the main x4 menu screen :lol:
