This mod was created based on a thread (link below) on the EGOSOFT forums. When creating this mod, I didn't test for any consequences that might negatively impact the game in the long run, e.g. stalling wars due to the lack of new ships, etc.

This mod was created based on a thread (link below) on the EGOSOFT forums. When creating this mod, I didn't test for any consequences that might negatively impact the game in the long run, e.g. stalling wars due to the lack of new ships, etc.
Base hull build times
- S class: 120 seconds for a-variant; 148 seconds for b-variant
- M class: 300 seconds for a-variant; 360 seconds for b-variant
- L class: 500 seconds for a-variant; 600 seconds for b-variant
- XL class:
- builders 800 seconds for a-variant; 960 seconds for b-variant
- resuppliers 800 seconds for a-variant; 960 seconds for b-variant
- carriers 1000 seconds for a-variant; 1200 seconds for b-variant
Installation
To install the mod
- Download the zipped archive
- You might have to create the folder "extensions" in your X4 root game folder
- Extract the ZIP and place the containing folder into the 'extensions' folder
- The mod is already enabled
- Enjoy the mod and longer build times ;-)
