The CrystalFinder should also work in version 6.0 (and Kingdom End) of X4: Foundations. I have just tested this. If someone finds problems, please report.
when i install it in the X4 root folder it doesn't work but when i install it in the my documents it does. seems to be a win7 issue maybe you could add separate instructions for Windows 7.
Purple crystals are the most common. Are you sure that this is not just now becoming visible to you because you are using the mod? There is now also a cooldown for the crystals, but you can change this to the old behavior with the mod "More crystals".
Fantastic! Finally I saw the crystals. It's impossible to find them without mods. And if you fly around every asteroid, then the cost of production did not justify the effort. Thanks a lot
A word of caution: this mod will affect FPS negatively when in dense asteroid fields because of the multiple light sources added. Otherwise it does exactly what it says on the tin. EDIT: I've done some testing and it seems FPS goes down by about 10 in asteroid fields such as those in Heretic's End. If you're using volumetric fog with this mod activated, the effect is even more drastic. For me, it happens whenever it's set to "high." Your mileage may vary.
Yes, it is definitely advisable to have a fast computer. The light sources are already there, but the complexity of the lighting still increases. Unfortunately, I can't really prevent that.
I still don't understand why you haven't updated your mod? Your mod doesn't work properly, what's wrong with it? How often should we all say that there is an error in your mod.
The mod works fine. You keep posting the same thing because you don't understand what the mods you're using do. The crystal spawn logic was changed in 3.0. When using this mod, which only has cosmetic changes, you see the effects of the changed logic because you can see the crystals changing into low-quality variants in real-time. Crystal Rarities, the mod from Steam, changes the spawn rate besides adding the glow. It's not just cosmetic, it changes the spawn rate. So of course you're seeing more crystals with Crystal Rarities, it changes the spawn rate. I wrote it thrice so that it might get through to you. If you had bothered to read the mod descriptions you would have realized by now. If you install Crystal Rarities - Glow Only, you'll see the same behavior, what you think is a "bug." You can also see it in the comments on that mod's Steam Workshop page, starting on page 2. Maybe you'll even stop spamming this page with your posts.
The mod can not cause this, my mod makes only optical changes. That only purple crystals spawn is due to the 3.0 update of X4: Foundations, so it is not a bug. "Crystal rarities" has changed the logic back to the pre 3.0 version. I have not changed the logic in my mod, but if you want to have the same change, then you need to install the mod "More crystals" in addition to my mod (is linked in the description).

Check if it is broken in your other versions.
