    -Bug-fix: Map menu breaks when the mod tries to refresh it after generating new mission even if the map isn't open.
    -Bug-fix: Sometimes, licences were getting awarded incorrectly.
    -Tweak: Defender points awarded to both policing faction and sector owner instead of just to policing faction.

    killing illegal immigrants at the stations does not give anything after the last update. The communication window does not appear at all. The problem appeared after obtaining militia status from the Earth protectorate. I haven't installed any new mods or updates since that moment.

      Do you mean that killing criminal ships is not giving you the reward the station gives you as per the base game? Or do you mean that the mod is not giving you points for killing criminal ships?

      1,5 of am: killing criminals dont give me reward like in a base game, but it started just after i've got militia status from earth protectorate. And I don't see any progress in getting the trusting deffender status, only "you need 45 points more..." But after killing a certain number of criminals (about 10) I've got the status. At the same time, checking the progress after each kill, I still saw "you need 45 points more..."
      the first thought was that the mod was broken somewhere, but then during the experiment I realized that the mod simply does not show me the level of progress (only the final status value)

    I'm having issues where I cannot buy military ship or capital ship licenses from the Argon. I turned off the setting in the extensions but I don't know what to do now. I've tried reloading and nothing is different.

    Hey so I became a Citizen with the Terrans just from trading with them. But for some reason the same isn't happening for Segaris. I'm not recieving any entreprenuer points from them when my ships make a trade with them. I even made a trade rule so some of my miners would only sell to them. Am I missing something? Thanks for the help

      Entrepreneur is a feature of Social Standings and Citizenships mod.

      Anyway, to get points for that (and for other systems in that mod snd in this, Reputations and Professions mod), you need to do the activity yourself. NPC activities only increase your base-game Relationship Points.

      Hmm, I don't understand how I got 100% with the Terrans then. I haven't done a single mission for them either. And I somehow got one point with the Teladi randomly.

      Missions and personal trading will increase those points.
      Have you ever traded with the Terran or Teladi personally?
      You can expand those entries in the Professions menu by clicking on the + button next to the Profession and see the activities you performed. Can you share a screenshot of that for the Terran and Segaris factions, please?

    sorry, but I got a noob question. I installed the mod and then i realized, I can't buy military ships anymore. And as I am a noob in the game as well, I deleted the mod. Problem is, I still can't buy the military ships I bought before installing the mod. Now I saw in the mod description I can switch this off in the settings. But now to my noob question: Where can I find the settings from the mods? From this mod? From any mod?

      Yeah, re-install the mod.
      Go to Options.
      Go to Extension Options.
      Go to Reputations and Professions.
      Change the settings there.

      Let me know if you don't get this to work.

      Thank you for the awesome and fast support. I always searched in the main menus options or extensions menu. But it's ingame. Thanks a lot. Found it and everythings fine again. :)

    -Bug-fix/tweak: After losing the military ship and capital ship licences, they were not getting added immediately after re-passing their requirements.
    -Bug-fix: Guild mission generation and mission description bug-fixes - especially for scanning missions.

      No. A very stripped-down version of the mod (mission generation, bounty hunter's office/npc, etc.) is already integrated into SWI. My other mods that have been integrated into SWI are: Social Standings and Citizenships mod and Emergent Missions mod. Do not install their stand-alone versions.

      for SWI? or vanilla?

      For SWI, you'll need to organise it with Shuulo or Mik.

      For this stand-alone version, you'll need to copy the file "x4 game folder\extensions\kuertee_reputations_and_professions\t\0001.xml" into the language file you want to localise for a region. I don't think all regions are supported. E.g. for German the file is "0001-I049.xml". Note that is the lowercase "L" before "049". For Russia, the file is "0001-l007.xml". Country codes are listed here: https://countrycode.org/

      Once you have copied that file into a region file, open it, and translate the text. If you want it shared, I can include it in the download section. Then include it in the ZIP in the next version. Credit is given, of course.

    Think this mod is an amazing concept. Only problem I'm having is now I can't accept ANY new missions. I loaded the mod mid game and I was only able to complete missions I had before installation. I started a new game just in case to see if that was the issue, but I couldn't accept anything there either. Thought it was maybe I could only do the guild missions now, so got Builder guild rank and still nothing.
    I am running VRO and almost all of your mods.

    What am I missing?

      Resolved. Had to remove "Accept mission later" mod.

      Yeah, there was a bug in "Accept Mission Later" mod. But I uploaded a fix to it. v6.2.001 (10 Sep 2023) should have fixed that bug.

    Hi Kuertee!
    Despite my many attempts, I could not exclude certain factions from the requirement for buying capital ships or from the ranking in general. 
    I followed your instruction in the forum, activated the log and unchecked the 'exclusion of third-part modifications' check,  and tried several changes in the script too, with no result or weird results :)
    Anyway, as I don't like to ask but to do, I made a small mod by my own to create the differentiations in ranking between major and minor factions:

    This mod works passively oc but at least to have capital ships one needs +30, and so on for other requirements.
    My question is, since it changes the ranks in the libraries/factions.xml, will it change anything with your mod? I'd like them to work alongside

      Hey Echarion, changes to the factions library will work with my mod. My mod doesn't use hard-numbers but use values from the game libraries.

      But ... it's unfortunate that the Requirements system within my mod doesn't work. I use it for the mod's integration into StarWars Interworlds mod and it works fine in that. Do you mind sending me at [email protected] the customised version of the file, "kuertee_profession_requirements_by_faction.xml", that you tried and didn't work?

    Hi !

    Great mod as always !

    The page for "Reputations" doesn't appear anymore when I click on it

    There is something since I can click but nothing appear

    It's propably an issue with an another mod but I'm unable to know why, it was working fineuntil the last few hours

    The last "big thing" I did was cleaning some xenons in a sector near the paranids using a the mod "Roaming Fleet" from Chillmatica so I earn a lot of credits and reputations from TRI


    And I have a constant loop of message with the terran since I have 20+ rep

    Something like "you have a new status with the terran: militia" everytime I trade with them which is a lot, it does continue with or without this mod

      Do you also have my other mod Social Standings and Citizenships (SSAC) installed? There was a bug in its recent previous version that broke the Reputations screen (and, admittedly, also some of SSAC's data).

      I released an update to that mod that fixes it.

      Also, it may fix the problem of the notification spam. It was reported before but that other player confirmed that it had stopped since I released the updated SSAC mod.

      Nah, I found the bug that prevented that screen from getting displayed.
      Will upload a fix in an hour or two.

      In case it's a different issue, I've also noticed that the screen wasn't opening, I found a debug message where it was failing in the lua, and maybe related SSAC messages (with 6.2.003 of SSAC and 6.2.002 of this):

      yeah, its the first error that causes it. its a showstopper bug in that it prevents the something in the game from happening - i.e. the menu doesn't show.

      the other errors from the citizenship mod is only a warning and is not a "showstopper". it'll be fixed in that mod's next update. for now, it's ok to throw that error in the logs.
