I didn't find any information in the description about where the guilds of Traders, Courier, Engineer, Miner, Saboteur located. And what does the Activity Multiplier parameter in the mod settings mean?
stations can have from 0 to 3 random guilds. some guilds, however, will always be at stations that would reasonably have them. e.g. bounty hunters guild at defense stations. you can quickly tell what guilds are at stations by connecting to the guild network when near a station, when the station's information is shown on the target monitor while not having the station targeted.
"Activity Multiplier" modifies the number of activity points you acquire when performing a task. More points gained, the sooner you become "qualified" for a profession.
Hey Kuertee, thank you for all your work in troubleshooting the mod for me. Unfortunately, even after updating to 7.5.09, (along with updating all of my mods to the mod authors most recent versions) I am still running into the issue where Factions and Relations, along with Reputations is still messed up on that current save. I am unable to open the Reputations Menu at all, and the Factions and Relations menu will open on first loading the save (but only the left side, none of the additional information on the right is available) and after attempting to open Reputations menu, the Factions menu will also bug out and not work. I have attempted to reset the mod by turning it off, saving and then turning it on and loading, but this has not changed anything, it still does not work. Do you have any suggestions?
hey guiltysage, thanks for repoting the bug again. this sounds like a menu problem rather than an in-game tracking problem.
can you create another debug log, please, and force that menu to not open by doing what you described: open the menu, try to open the sections with the plus (+) symbol, try to open the panel for the different factions, etc. when you do this and it breaks, close the menu, and re-open it and try a different part of the menu. i.e. when it breaks once when it is open, other parts of that menu is generally also broken. closing it will restart the menu fresh and you can break it again at a different spot.
thanks for being patient.
EDIT: also, has one of your properties been destroyed? the menu is probably trying to access data for a destroyed property.
Hey, thank you for continuing to look into this for me. I have followed your directions to generate the log file and shared it via Google Drive with you. Please let me know if you need anything else.
Edit: I have lost some properties to the Xenon, but I do not believe any were recent (if that matters).
Hi, i dont understand how this works. I did missions, killed hostile ships. My Faction Rep for Borons is at 30 but i dont gain any profession nor reputation in this mod at all.
did i miss something. Dont i get rep and profession with the generic missions that randomly appear on stations? i also did not see any guild represantatives. At any station and i teleportet to around 30 boron stations.
/ playd 5hrs today not a single point granted. I don't know what i'm doing wrong. Is it a problem, that i already was at 30 Rep as i installed the mod oder doesn't that matter? Is it correct that in the mods rep window and job window i can only see my own faction or should there be other factions visible too?
I tried my luck again today. Opened lockboxes. Kille a pirate in boron territory, but nothing happens in the rep menu of the mid. Mot a single point added. I also dont see any guild offices at the stations. I visited now a lot of the boron stations but did not find any, nor do i get missions other than the generic and the obes from your other mod like mayday mayday and escorts.
if you need it i can provide you my savegame. the game was vanilla till i installed your mod and a trade Information center mod.
Having same issue that JasonX2000 is having. Spent the past day running missions in Boron territory, stuck at just 6 points, which I started with. I'm repairing stations, dropping satellites, blowing up mine fields, and ferrying every little bobbleheaded Boron I can find to and fro. No status gain, but rep is climbing (at +17 now).
I did downgrade to .7, then up to .9, but no joy. Any idea? If i uninstall this mod, will that correct the issue? I really need to buy better modules, ship, and blueprints, but this seems to be axing that dream.
i checked your log, and it didn't show any problems. can you reset the mod by: save the game WITHOUT the mod active, then load that save WITH the mod active.
i played the game from a new gamestart and found no problems. i completed 2 missions: first mission, saved, loaded, then completed the 2nd mission. everything looks to be working as shown in the screenshots below this post.
The 7.5.08 version of the Reputations and Professions mod is not tracking player activities ON NEW GAMES. If you also have the Social Standings and Citizenships mod, you'll also need to downgrade it to 7.5.07.

if you have that version and you're still experiencing the same problem, can you send me a debug log as described in the description tab, please?
still not working:Debug
This is how it looks like in my game.
i'll have a look.

Exactly that did fix it. lol
Thank you.
then the Friend and Ally licences are restricted.
You need to pass the requirements of this Reputations and Professions mod
and the requirements of the Social Standing and Citizenships mod.
If you also have the Social Standings and Citizenships mod, you'll also need to downgrade it to 7.5.07.
you trigger a check by attacking or killing a faction's ship or by trading with them.
