Downloading now, not sure if all your hard work will still function in version 7.0 but I will give it a try. What program/s would one need to use to extract the sound files from the .02cat file? I need to edit or replace most of the custom alert sounds (ui_notification_player_alert_01.wav to_25.wav) as I can barely hear all but two of them when setting up the alert and will never hear them in game. Too many years around turbine engines to hear faint sounds anymore, so I need to crank up the alert volume or replace them with something most would consider obnoxious to get any use of the alert system.
Excellent mod. Gives the game a very Star Wars-esque feeling. Great Work. Works fine with 6.0 I notice a few questions regarding installation. For steam, extract download to: ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\X4 Foundations\extensions Check its been loaded ok via the Extentions tab at start of game.
Damn nice. Much better than the original sounds in almost every aspect. This must have been a LOT of work. There are very few sounds I don't like that much - but they are easy to replace. Thank you for sharing this.

However, this error keeps spamming in the log files:
[=ERROR=] 863329.01 Sound::LoadRiffWave() cannot process data for Asset 'extensions\zsounds\sfx\ui\monitor\event\ui_mon_eve_money_down_3.wav'!

Seems one of your sound effects is missing a .wav file.
