About this mod
Increases drops of High Energy Catalyst mod wares to help balance out the number of weapons versus other ship system mods (i.e. shields, chassis, ...).
- Permissions and credits
Increases the drop of High Energy Catalyst mod wares by ~5X.
This mod doesn't add new content and isn't flagged to lock a save.
The original catalyst drop rate was even with all other mod wares, in chance and amount (equal chance of 1:5, with 1-2 dropped). This mod increases the drop amount to 1-12. Other mod wares still drop with an equal chance in 1-2 per drop.
This mod was designed with the intent of relieving the High Energy Catalyst supply issues that come up when you start trying to mod out your fleet. Most ships have more than 1 weapon, unlike mods such as the chassis, shield, etc. Feel free to change the values as you see fit for your desired game play, or if you feel the balance is off.
