This seems to work with 6.0 also. But it is worth noting under Linux that you will need to change a few things, similar to the Improved Repair Laser mod where I also commented on this problem for Linux (and I suspect Mac). This goes back to Rebirth as a known issue for Linux and Mac.
For this mod in particular, I had to rename weaponFx to weaponfx, WeaponSystems to weaponsystems, and WEAPON_GEN_S_REPAIR_01_MK1_DATA.ANI to weapon_gen_s_repair_01_mk1_data.ani. I also went ahead and updated any references in weapon_gen_s_repair_01_mk1.xml, macros.xml and components.xml to the now fully lower cased path names. As with the other mod, I only tried all of this in place under ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/X4 Foundations/extensions so I can't comment on whether this would have also fixed things when under ~/.config/EgoSoft/X4 instead.
Very good mod ... sorry for my English (translated by the google translator), I am from Spain and there are no mods in Spanish ... But you could Adds to repair laser for S-class ships, which is purchased to create repair mobile service ships. he would sacrifice his firepower for his ability to repair. Can you create that mod?
Works for me on 1.50 even. Though, I can't see the repair laser on the ship (it's not there) but it does work on satellites, etc. Would appreciate updating to v1.50 and adding a Medium Size repair laser.
EDIT : Got a lot of crashes with this mod turned on. After turning it off, have not got crashes. Not sure if this mod is the reason, but be warned.
For me dont work, no 1 Station have this Repair laser to Sell. I have 30 or more Station check to sell it no 1 have it. I Use Win 10 Game Version 1.30 Steam Version. And Mod test it in the Folder steam\common\x4\extensions Ingame say it it is on, and no sell. Same the Mod test in Folder to C:\Users\your name\Documents\Egosoft\X4\1638\extensions same here no 1 Sell it have any a screen who can i buy it or what is wrong?
and next 1 say it mod put in steam\common\x4\extensions and another say it put the Mod in C:\Users\your name\Documents\Egosoft\X4\1638\extensions
Ok so heres how mods work atm. You can have them in loose files, and packed in archives. You need to put archived mods into the games installation folder in a self-made folder titled 'extensions'. You can put loose file mods into the 'my documents' 'extensions' folder.
It is best to put all mods in the game installation folder as some mods are poorly written and will cause a crash when you attempt to interact with an element from the mod because the game tries to load an archive which isnt there thanks to directory layout pointing to the my documents folder.
This doesn't work at all for me and i've had this mod downloaded since 1.20, the extension is listed in-game yet no ship has the module and there is no way to craft it or find it that i have found.
