    uninstaller does not work... now I have the giant blinkies forever...

    My presbyopic eyes thank you very much. You do not know how much they reduced the burden on my eyes.

    Just one thing for the version 1.0 of the mod.

    I'm pretty sure that by convention the mod zip file must have a directory where the mod's files must go.

    Like:

    Crystal_Beacons-513-1-0-1596763967.zip
    crystal_beacons/ <-- missing
    content.xml
    ext_01.cat
    ext_01.dat
    Remove Crystal Beacons.zip

    Great mod!

    I use it with Crystal Rarities (https://www.nexusmods.com/x4foundations/mods/451) so tweaked the colours to match as I was getting some weird backlight mismatches

    I know it may be considered a little cheaty, but would it be possible to make a version where the flashes match the crystals? perhaps make the more valuable crystals flash less obvious?

      Colouring the lens beacon effects is something I am working on, but it's eluding me at the moment.. I did try to match the colouring to the crystals (aside from white which I know I set as a red in my version), I found crystal finder to be quite off on my system, but that's probably gamma and other differences. But I will look at his colouring again.

      And for everyone who just wants to include the changes made by Crystal Rarities into this mod (specially the countdown removal for when you pick a high value crystal), just copy libraries/objectspawnrules.xml from Crystal Rarities ext_01.dat to Crystal Beacons folder, keeping the libraries/ path.

      No need to do anything else.

      @Nuanil, its OK to mark the mod as Vortex compatible, I just tested it.

    Hi, how do I remove this without wrecking my game save. Not sure if this mod is trashing my fps or if its the sapphire ships mod. Turned off crystal beacons but save is now incompatible.

      Sorry, I've been in the boonies camping (Covid restrictions lifted). You should be able to remove or rename the ext_01.cat and .dat files to .old, and just leave the content.xml behind as the only file in the directory. It's due to the mod modifying library\lens_effects.xml.
