Maybe you misunderstood me, I know what the mod is for, otherwise I wouldn’t download it, the problem is that it doesn’t work ... I tried to put on a clean game with only 4 dls, it doesn’t work. Downloaded right now with your latest fix, no change... It's even off in the mod menu, turn it on, restart the game, it's off again
I see what the author said, but even for me it works on already made ships as well as new ships. If its turning off its either corrupted or another issue. I had the same problem where mods I turned on were turned off on restart just can't remember how I fixed it.
I obviously did. It might be a problem with another mod. Please make sure all mods are turned on and about those other mods... Maybe you can send me a List of your mods? This mod is compatible with VRO, and I don't know many mods, which might have a problem with it.
Grotfol look in the extensions list in game and see if the mod lists a ws_ file for that mod. Next check if there is a folder with that same ws_ number if there is delete it and start the game. Should clear up the problem. I have had phantom ws_ folders for non workshop mods show up and prevent the mod from being activated no matter how hard you try but deleting the offending folder fixes it.
Could be an oversight, but I noticed that you have the .cat file still there alongside the loose files. Probably doesn't cause any conflicts since they appear identical at first glance.
Yes, I include them both, for performance reasons. But you're right, the steam archives only use the cat files. I just include also the sources, in case somebody wants to mod my mods. The versions are identical.
Hello. Is there an option to do this only for the player? I see a comment below where this affects AI, which means that such changes have huge consequences for the economy of the game...
Are you 100% sure, it doesn't? Remember, the ship has to be build new. You can't upgrade or downgrade the storage of ships, that are flying. It works only for new ships.
I'm trying to edit this slightly for my own game, as I feel that 100k storage for the buffalo, while very nice, is too OP, and I wanted to edit the storage of the Monitor so it was a heavy hauler instead of barely being able to lift 29k units lol. Poor Monitor. I have the XR Ship Mod as well and love the massive XL haulers that mod brings, but oh god the Monitor is just a sexy beast of a ship and I'd prefer to use that. Hell I'd use it as a battleship if I could lol. Anyways.... I tried editing the storage macro of the buffalo to 40k instead of 100k but the storage is remaining at 100k when I load up the game, and all other races are still increased even though I thought I deleted their entries (I deleted the assets folder, which was just a stab in the dark on my part to see if that'd work) - any ideas what other part I edit to get the storage down to 40k and delete all the non-split stuff? I'm guessing it's that ext_01.dat file but I have no idea how to unpack those. I'm unable to download the one on Egosoft's site, they want all sorts of account linking to happen which I'm not keen on doing for security reasons. If this is actually a 'secret of the trade' or simply the wrong place to ask this, then totally no worries, I understand, but any tips would be awesome!
Hiho, no problem at all. Easy solution: Just build a new ship and it will take the new storage. Storage is saved in your save game with the ship. It will never change. Another thing: remove the ext01* files of my mod, or it won't take the changes in your files but prefer the archives. Cheers, Kee.
What do you mean? Sorted? Just go into extensions and delete the mod. You may have to empty all your ships of the additional cargo, if it has too much.

It works for me.

This mod from Nexus might only work with the GOG version.
But this mod is also available in the Steamworkshop.
"The mod increases the cargo of new build ships ..."
I changed the cargo size for teladi ships (in 10x version it was only 3x).
It was applied for all existing ships right away.
The versions are identical.
