Hello. The idea of your fashion is good. BUT!!! 1. Cripples appear in the game. An unpleasant sight.2. And if you delete or disable the mod, then the save is not loaded. Game freezes at 85% loading. This is very bad!!! What is the way out of this?
NIce. I ran around for ages trying to find a nice girl to be my 2nd in command on my first ship. Found a rather attractive one finally that looks a lot like Yisha from X-Rebirth. Nice. Pity her arms still go weird sometimes though... I'll stick a pic when I figure out how. Screenshotting in game don't seem to work.
It's very strange what's happening to you. All versions work perfectly for me and I haven't received any reports similar to yours. It must be something different from this mod...
1st.- Check that you don't have two different versions of this mod installed in your... "Steam\steamapps\common\X4 Foundations\extensions" folder. 2ยบ.- Run a new test game only with this mod installed.
Versions 5 and 6 of the mod have the same NPCs, they only differ in the recruitment script. Load time is 2 minutes on my computer.
See if that works for you with mod version 5.03 in your save games with mod version 5.01. The red notice in the start menu should disappear.
I recommend you to use version 6 with recruitment. The recruiting officer always appears in the HQ Argon ADMINISTRATOR'S office.
If you eventually use version 6 of the mod in your save games with version 5.01 of the mod, use the same trick described above to make them compatible.
If you start a new X4 game with version 6 or 5.03 of the mod, you shouldn't edit anything and you shouldn't have any problems loading the X4 game with the mod either.
Thankyou very much for this. The boring grey of everyone and lack of variety in default is snore-inducing and makes choosing crew members hugely unfun. Will try and rate.
p.s A Dev of the game actually directed me here! So kudos. p.p.s Dunno why, but this mod is not appearing in the extensions menu. I also notice teh Avarice mod (the new DLC) isn't showing either. Am I supposed to start a new game?
Update: Ok, got it working. Looks like my game was corrupted. Really nice to see some variety and life return to the human stations and now I can choose who I like on looks as well as ability. I even saw some models I've never seen before. I mean, I don't mind some uniformity, but not everywhere, that makes little sense. There are some quirks like screwed up hands and the odd weird-bald woman, but I'll live with that until the fixes, if any.
Yea I saw this too with my human custom player.. suddenly she was using the Paranid skeleton again. Idk what Ego did to re break it because the X:R Canteran body did this at 1st then one of the updates fix it to use the proper human skeleton now it seems they undid that fix :/

I'm actually interested in knowing how you are preventing the update are you playing the game on GOG?
