Changelogs
Version 2.0.7
2023-04-20 ~ Fixed: Single satellite placement was not working properly. ~ Fixed: Restocking of satellites was not working properly. (Galaxy version) 2023-04-21 ~ Fixed: Restocking of satellites was not working properly. (Sector version)
Version 2.0.6
~ Added: Czech translation.
~ Added: The mod now utilizes the JP_ScriptLibrary for some functions, reducing code volume and streamlining the addition and fixing of code.
~ Added: Option to enable/disable notifications and logging in logbook.
~ Added: More logging and notifications.
~ Added: Option to enablee/disable the prioritization of gates.
~ Fixed: There was an issue with the function that checks whether a station has enough resources to build all the necessary satellites.
This issue caused the ship to dock and wait for resources, potentially for an extended period of time, depending on when the station was resupplied with resources.
~ Fixed: Rare case where the Sector selection could fail.
~ Changed: Moved some translations to the JP_ScriptLibrary.
~ Updated: More optimizations for the greedy algorithm (position choosing for satellites).
~ Updated: Several code cleanup and translations changes.
Version 1.0.5
~ Added: Implemented a check to clear the internal blacklist of ships that have been destroyed.
~ Added: The script now calcualtes a path to the target sector and subsequently runs the 'move.generic' command for every gate/highway in the path.
~ Fixed: Resolved an issue where the ship was sometimes unable to reach a sector or would halt after a jump.
~ Fixed: German translation of 'Werft' is now 'Raumdock'.
~ Fixed: The internal blacklist was being cleared when the script was reloaded. This caused the ship to forget which sector it was working in.
Given the sorting process via estimate_time, the ship might choose to go to another sector even though it had work remaining in its current sector.
~ Changed: The script now calculates its own safe position instead of using the 'get_safe_pos' command from Egosoft, which hasn't been working properly in some cases.
Version 1.0.4
~ Added: A translation for IdleReturnHome.
~ Added: Implemented a check to ascertain if a station possesses enough resources to construct all the required satellites. In case of a deficiency, a visual warning will be issued and a log entry will be made in the ship's log.
~ Fixed: Issue resolved where the "Find a Station?" option could not be saved.
~ Changed: Modified the sector sorting process from a mix of distance and jump count checks to the usage of estimate_travel_time.
~ Changed: Enhanced script execution speed by altering wait segments from 1000ms to 1ms.
~ Changed: The SatelliteDropper will now switch to idle mode rather than cancelling the order if issues arise during satellite restocking. This could occur under several circumstances, such as the inability to locate a station, insufficient available resources, inadequate funds, or errors during vanilla order creation. This change is also applicable when automatic restocking is disabled and the SatelliteDropper exhausts its satellite supply.
~ Optimized: The SatelliteDropper fleet management is now more streamlined and stable, thanks to the utilization of in-game functionality.
~ Optimized: Generic code optimizations have been carried out for improved performance.
Version 1.0.3
~ Added: A check to ensure that only ships with the required skills can copy orders from their SatelliteDropper Commander.
~ Fixed: The SatelliteDropper Sector version wouldn't clear its order list if the parameters were changed.
Version 1.0.2
~ Added: Now, when the ship enters the idle state, 'Idle' will be appended to the ship's name.
~ Added: If you change a setting of the Sector or Galaxy script, it will now clear the orders list.
~ Added: I have included a description for the sector and galaxy order script, which will be visible when you hover over it.
~ Updated: Lowered the experience gain.
~ Updated: Enhanced the description of the mod in the extension menu.
~ Changed: I've relocated the section of the code that removes the OrderTag from the name to the cleanup section.
Version 1.0.1
~ Further optimized the greedy algorithm.
~ Slightly lowered the experience gain.
~ Changed/Added order icons.
~ Changed the minimum relationship requirement for finding a station at which to restock.
~ Fixed an issue where subordinates would dock whenever the commander docked to restock satellites.
~ Resolved a bug where the ship would not exit its idle state.
~ Now, when the commander changes its parameters, the subordinates will mirror these changes.
~ Added a "stop moving" to the ship and satellite to prevent pushing satellites into the abyss while in SETA/SINZA mode.
~ Implemented some minor fixes and code optimizations.
Version 1.0.0
~ Initial upload of the new complete rewritten SatelliteDropper
