Sorry but I don't quite understand how to install this. You say we are supposed to put files in a libraries folder inside the mods folder and then you posted some links. There is no libraries folder inside the mods folder. So I guess we need to create it? And then we are supposed to move the downloaded ships folders into the libraries folder? What about all the subfolders inside your "new ships for the factions" folder? I am asking because I did exactly this and now all of those ships don't show up in the game anymore!
In the mod there is such a folder "libraries" (not a compressed version mod) You need to take the file (for example "for Jealousy") "shipgroups" from the folder in the archive and put it in the mod "Jealousy", in the folder " libraries"
Oh now I understand. For example the content of the "for joy" folder, which is a shipgroups.xml file needs to be put into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X4 Foundations\extensions\joy\libraries", right?
Right. It's 01:50am. My head was OK till I started reading how to install these ships. So to try and clarify; I've d/l the files and in folder "new ships for the factions", there are 6 further folders that I assume belonging to each ship (For joy, for wrath etc.) and in each of these folders is a file "shipgroups" So to get these ships to work, I have to make ONE folder called "libraries" in the current extensions folder and drop the 6 folders in here? Because no matter how I read your comments, there currently is NO folder in the "extensions folder" called libraries. And Cyron43's C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X4 Foundations\extensions\joy\libraries Doesn't, in my opinion, ring true. Looks like you have to make a folder called "joy" and in that, put a folder called libraries. Ships look great in the pics, just need to get them into the game (Oh! I presume it's working with the current X4 version?).
