      Yes, tested/playing with 7.00 and 7.10, and in both it works. (Using a custom start, with and without research done, both working.)
      Also good for XRSGE. Only problem, you may place your jump beacons near your goal. Example XRSGE with its huge sectors. There mining areas may be hundred's of km away. Now, if you place a jump beacon near gates or stations, your XL/L miners may still have to travel some time. Placing a second near the mining area does nothing. Ships seem to jump only to the first placed. But still it boosts your economy considerable, if you plan a little ahead where to place stations and where to mine...

      How did you get it to work? It seems to require the right-click API but that mod is breaking my game (can't right-click a station to give orders).

      I had an old save  (2years old, before boron and timelines extention) with allready jumps beacons on many systems (including leap of faith), and got the same problem with right-click API (bought boron extention), edited the right_click_api.lua, and removed local function init() (lines 1043  to 1091). works with the full version of jump drive (not tested lite and minimal). I don't know exactely what it does, but it works thats all I wanted :)

    got a couple requests here. Can we have these made available to purchase at equipment docks?(Jump beacons I mean.) and is there any way you could try and add a captain command so I can have some of my small ships go out and seed the galaxy with the beacons? Please and thank you!!

    I'm having an issue with your mod. There seems to be a trigger for the Void > Second Contact jump gate 80km from the gate itself. AI will jump from the middle of the sector to the other sector, bypassing any blockade on that side.

    Removing the mod will obviously fix the problem, except I found that replacing the lite version with the minimal version removes the mod from the game as well (ships dont use the mk1 jump drive, all research doesnt exist).

    guidance is where the ships will jump from the void to second contact

    Is there a reason my ai ship jump, even if they DONT have e-cell in their cargobay????

      My ships also don't need e-cell to jump. It seems the modder confused lite version with regular version or x4 updates broke the logic.

    Does this mod work on mod ships?

    I am using the Kyoto mod for X4, and would really like to be able to jump it wherever it needs to go. Kyoto is big enough that it literally bounces off of the jumpgates more often then it goes through them.

    Edit: it does, but I found another problem. I am suddenly unable to use jumpdrive mk1 once I researched jumpdrive mk3.
    Setting guidance to the jumpgate and hitting autopilot within 10km of the jumpgate just sets autopilot normally. It does not let me jump.
    I'm using lite version, so energy shouldn't be an issue.

    Edit2: I reinstalled the mod, and its just stopped working altogether. I haven't tried with the jump beacons yet, but the mk1 for within 10km of the gate is utterly broken. The worst part is I don't know why or how to fix it.

    Edit3: I figured it out. You don't set guidance to the jumpgate you want to go THROUGH, you set it to the jumpgate you want to EMERGE OUT OF.
    This whole time, I've been setting it to the jumpgate in the sector I was in, when I should have been setting it to the jumpgate of the sector I wanted to get to.
