    Warning: VRO on Beta 4.10 is completely broken and makes game unplayable - all equipment loadout screens are not working. Screens are blank, all UI elements are greyed out, so no ships can be bought or modified.

    Ah man, first the hassle with the internal generator stuff in the last updates (took me days to refit 300 ships, grr), and now this - on every update of either VRO or X4 the whole game seriously breaks down...

    Any chance that this will be fixed soon ?

      Well, just wanted to mention it.

      I don't care who is responsible - there are too many important updates in base game to ignore. Please make it work or prevent users from downloading a game breaking version.

      Ehm, and it should *clearly* mentioned on main page that VRO is incompatible with future game versions,,,,

      You're not forced to opt in for the beta. Plenty of mods in many games don't update their mods for beta versions of games.

      4.1 is NOT a future version of the game, its beta, it will be broken by itself, no sane modder will continuously changed beta with the scope of mod like VRO.
      VRO will be updated for 4.1 either when its out or when I deem it stable enough, not earlier.
      And the issue you had is fixed by egosoft already.

    Could you tell me what part of the XML is related to weapon firing / overheating so I can modify it?

    With the default game, I can hold the "fire weapon" hotkey and the laser will fire until it turns red and overheats. The basic laser shoots with a slight delay between shot but fires continuously until it overheats.

    With VRO installed, it does about 3 or 4 shots shots then pauses for a few seconds until the heat indicator goes to zero. It never actually overheats though, the heat indicator line is less than 1/4 of the total length and still blue. I find this method more frustrating and would rather the original but just have it overheat a little faster.

    When you're doing one of those "shoot criminal traffic" missions it gets very annoying to have to wait several seconds after three shots.

    Can you tell me how is it possible got get from black hole sun 4 to 5 without a highway? do you add a jump gate, im searching it, but i cant find a way get to black hole sun 5. can you help me?

    Great Mod! Thank you for your effort and improving the game =)

    Unfortunately i encountered two problems.
    1. I cant upgrade the Syn or Moreya, because the game insist of choosing a shield generator, but there is none to select. I cant change anything (weapons, crew, deployments, ...) because of this. The button to add changes to the shopping list is not clickable (greyed out) and hints me with a red tooltip that nessecary upgrades are missing. https://ibb.co/Jd9w53F
    2. This is similiar to first, but in the encyclopaedia with XL-ships. I cant add engines and steering. It's strange that the Syn works here.

    I am curious why no one reported this before. Maybe i am the only one with this problem? I use some other mods, but none adds special engines or generaters to ships like VRO.

    PS: 3. I noticed that a ship from any Antigone-sector will fly through paranid sectors to reach my HQ instead of flying the shorter way through black sun. Obviously the wrong route would be faster with the ring-highway, but not when they are removed through your suggested mod NoSuperHighway.

      I have the same problem. I cant even build Osaka or Syn, because of that one Shield generator requiement. The selection is empty, but the buld list insist on putting one in.

      The only workaround I found for this issue was to select "minimal preset" from the dropdown and then go back and reselect all the components that it removed. After doing this once for a particular ship, I was able to "upgrade ship" later without the error.

      I created an official bug report, in case the mod developer doesn't notice this comment.

      Same problem here... I cannot create any syn or asgard (probably many more ships) because that fake shield slot... is there any solution? I some other ships, selecting the minumum requirements solve the problem, but that's not working with the XL ships...

      Can confirm Issue,

      issue is present for Litigious Rodent as well. Can't repair due to Empty shield requirement.

      Edit - If you set to a minimal preset as someone else mentioned the issue goes away, you'll have to reselect your equipment or select another preset.

      Yeah had the same issue... but then i thought... maybe i'm missing some Blueprints?
      And yes. Check if you have the Blueprints of the New Moduls.

      I found the problem: it is necessary to start a new game... This is advised in the Steam Workshop web for the mod, but not here... Starting a new game fix everything, as every ship has a new "basic generator" in slot 1. If you do not start a new game, this slots keeps empty in almost every ship
