I don't understand why this ship doesn't have access to shield or turrets when it has the slots for them. am I downloading this wrong or is this a bug?
In the description you mention "The KI seems not to use this ship. Unless you start a new game. Then I have seen it happen." Is this because shipgroups.xml is in the library folder? File preview only shows the packed ext_01.cat and ext_01.dat files.
I'm assuming it's likely to do with the similar issue you mention in the description for the Nadia and nothing to do with a shipgroups.xml file inclusion.
I'm just wondering if the best way to start a new game to make certain that this is a player only ship is to remove the folder from extensions, and then add it back after starting a new save. Or, is there's something I might be able to edit that will always prevent the possibility of the AI using the ship?
Also, thank you for all your time and effort in providing these ships; as well as the most recent update to your Colossus.
I did upload a new version with the sources in it. Also nerfed the thrusters a bit, they were op. I deleted the shipgroup everywhere, where it isn't necessary. What you can do, delete the ext* archives and then edit libraries\wares.xml: Replace everywhere:<owner faction="teladi" /> with <owner faction="player" /> Then nobody can use the ships but you. But you need your own warf/shipyard to build it.
hei, just curious, i playing from my current save game file,... what if, i install the mod, continue playing, buy it from teladi, save the game, and then quit and edit the owner faction=player, and re-enter to continue the game. what happen then? do i keep the ship and no ai can use it or... ?
Hm, habe gerade das hier gelesen: NOTE! since 2.4 version of the mod there is no need to add internal generators to your ship macros. Kannst du mal ausprobieren, ob das Schiff einfach so funzt? Sollte eigentlich, wenn das obrige zutrifft.

I rebuild many mods to work with VRO ...you need to add " lgun hgun" at the end of every weapon or turret connection for guns and turrets to work... thing is with some mods that they are not loose but packed, when i unpack i just get .xml files but without model, while packed files still have .xml that will conflict with changes. Either share loose variant, or if you want to protect your model, upload in such way model is packed while .xml files are not. Thank you.
I asked the developer from VRO. Just weapons need the lgun hgun. Watch it, if you put more than four hguns into the Point Of, she might be seriously overpowered.
Also: "For vro version ship must have the lgun hgun tag for weapon and make an internal shield generator because shields in vro are very tiny and work like a little bonus in capacity & regen". I read you ask about more information how to make ship work with VRO, so here you go. Not only guns but internal shield.
