Is this compatible with the XR ship mod which has the Red Knight (same model)? I have that installed and when I go to Argon shipyards to buy your raptor, it doesn't come up as Raptor it comes up as the Red Knight and seems to have the same stats as the XR mod. I think somehow the XR mod version might be overwriting this. I'm reluctant to uninstall it because the AI are using a ton of those ships at the moment. But this looks like it's the better version of the two - any chance of having a look at that?
UPDATE: Never mind, I renamed the XR Ship mod folder to AXR Ship mod (so it loads before your mod) and now since your mod loads after the XR ship mod, it retains all the XR ships but overwrites the Red Knight with your glorious version :D
Well it looks like I spoke too soon and by doing what I did above, XR Ship pack is no longer in game. Any chance of making it compatible with the XR ships as well?
What's that copy of the md folder inside the archive? Is it a unwanted left over file? It's in the unpacked version (a folder named "md - Kopie" / EIn Ordner mit dem Namen "md - Kopie").

i have to dissapoint you on this one. the X3 titan isnt on my list :< only the x2 version is. overall the x3 argon ships are a pain to port. but the UNSC infinity is on my list and kinda resembles the argon titan from x3. its a rather generic design
I remember that the Raptor was about 2km long in X3, but in those pics it seem to be a little larger? Another question is whether you plan to add in other capital ships in X3? I liked the ATF's Tyr so much~~
Originally the Raptor was an M1 and thus a carrier. It's size is compareable to the other carriers in x4. Sadly I can't make it a carrier because of lack of knowledge about editing a 3d model. So I left it as M2 and thus an Destroyer. Or more like a battleship.
I would love to do that but the x3 models lack in quality compared to x4. This might seriously hurt immersion. Besides that I don't know how to export x3 models so I can work on them in blender and I already have more than enough to learn. If u provide me with models I'll see what I can do for you

However, I still lack 4 turrets at the back right of the ship. Could you also adjust the rotation of the landing platforms so that they harmonize with the surface of the ship? That would be great!
I still found an optical error. While docking at a station, the ship collides with the station and merges with it.
The turrets you are lacking are there. They are just not in any loadout. If u select/choose them yourself they should appear. The loadouts are missing some more turrets. Pay attention to that when building the ship. Care to report back to me about that?
The landing platforms... yea I'm quite frustrated by them coz I can't find I place where I like them. But for the next update I'll just rotate them and put them lower as u suggested.
The docking is on the todo list. It's the waypoint and right now it's in the centre of the ship.
Great work so far - I really like to see your progresses. However are you in contact with the modder from "a ship mod" and the one who wants to make all ships from XR available? I mean will your mod be compatible to theirs?
i talk the the one who makes a ship mod sometimes but not with ojump, the one who wants to make a bunch of XR ships. but as far as i know ojump doesnt want to do the split ship and thats why i did it. there should be no compatibility issue with their mods.
Thank you, great! One more question - if you change the interim solution with the L engine - will the existing ships left in space without engine? In other words - can I use the ship for my ongoing game at the current state of progress?
it will probably lose its engine. but as i said, ill include a .rar with the current engine in it for that case so u can keep using it or fly it to a station and install the new engine.
