Has this mod been abandoned? Is it still being updated at all? I'm getting CRAZY mission offers. Millions and millions of credits for mine removal, but only a few hundred k for base-building. I don't know what this mod is SUPPOSED to be doing for its calculations, but its clearly not working.
So placing scaner give me 20 milions, but building station gives me 956 thousands ... .ehmmm NO the "bring missions up to make them worth the time" is good idea but what this mod actualy does is pure nonsense
Issues with Rescue ship mission and repair object mission paying out absurd values should be addressed for now. If anyone else runs into the bug where no missions at all are offering errors, debug log or a copy of your game save file would be appreciated immensely.
Beautiful .... ok, haven't seen a repair sat mission yet, but ... the ship rescue missions where you have to return the ship yourself are fixed, and now pay nicely. But the Teladi Trade Guild missions where you destroy mines and the ship flies away on its own ... they're all paying in the 50k range, even the ones with like 30 mines that default paid 125k. That's with faction rep above 20.
So, as usual with modding, one step forward, two steps back. I figure this won't be hard to replicate, but I can send a save game or the like if you need it.
Admittedly, I haven't looked at guild missions yet, though I'm guessing a bunch of them use the same mission reward libraries, so hopefully won't be too difficult to address this. Thanks for the tip.
Works great haven't seen anything outrageious since the update. If your taking suggestions for future improvements I see 2 major places for reworkthe Guild/faction missions and the various "wetwork" missions you can get via scan mode. At the moment I turn down all the criminal missions just because 1mil payment is just not enough warrant a rep drop I can get just as much doing legit workwetwork should be more lucrative for the extra consequences and I personally think a higher mod chance reward as the black market should be able to net you some nice mods.
Thank you for the suggestions, and yea, was planning on getting to guild/faction missions at some point. Lately I've been working on creating new wares, and language localization. Always so much to do, I'll have to peek into the wetwork stuff.
Great mod, my compliments, I am going to give it a try right away. Small suggestions though, how about adding a chance of paint jobs? At least for those "I missed my ride" missions, who are barely worth ever taking on. Even a separated mod, with this added feature would be nice, so to give an option between the two versions ;) .

That's a great idea, thanks, and something that I'm exploring toward. It's been a really busy week for me (university papers), but I'm looking into increasing the item reward pools with a variety of other items, including yes, paint mods, piles of other loot, and even potentially ships or blueprints. Finding the code to give blueprints properly is proving a little more tricky for me.
Also, in case it has not been brought up, some mission rewards become kinda ridiculous, for example 1 and half millions to repair a satellite. Not even sure how and if can be fixed, but I am letting you know just in case.
Got another bug for you. On the missions to rescue a ship from a minefield, the ones where the ship has a pilot work fine. However, the ones where you must manually board the ship and fly it somewhere all seem to pay 4900 upon turning over ownership of the ship. I'm sure that's not right.
That said ... like the idea of missions being worth doing.
Thank you, I wasn't aware of this issue. I'll be patching a quick fix tonight for the repair mission (bit of a bandaid fix for now), and will hit this one too, until I can work out a better solution.
