I like autosaving exactly every ten minutes. This lets me do so. 5/5.
Very useful, concise little mod. Literally just waits some time, then checks if you have autosaves on, and if you do triggers the base game autosave mechanism.
it works, no doubt about it, but i think something in it screws with something. I've had a solid 50-60 fps flying around in systems, but after 30 min, its down to 14-25. Have to restart game then i start out at 60 again etc. I tryed removing it, but still the same. Does it leave something after delete? going into map mode is even worst, 5-12 fps
Great Mod. Is there any way to have it save automatically to 2 or 3 different files in a loop. I am a bit worried that it could save just as you get blown up and have no way of loading up a previous save file.
As it it autosaves when you move zones, but not timed. So if youre sat still for a long time not doing anything it wont save. Or in the same sector in space etc.
I think people find the autosave annoying because within a few hours of playing your game save is about 200mb large and thats why when you save it takes a while for the game to function normally again.
I'm confused, does this require the autosave setting on the Game Settings page to be enabled or not? I just had 2 hours of gameplay lost with no autosave with the option disabled.
But it does not save when you disable the autosave. After I enabled it, the mod started to work. But the intervall is a bit wonky. I think it overlaps with the vanilla save.
