About this mod
Since the original author is currently inactive and the APIs are licensed under MIT, I have uploaded the latest community release of the APIs. This project has been shaped by the efforts of SirNukes, bvbohnen, Chryssie, iomatix, and now I will do my best to keep it updated with stable releases of X4.

⚠️ Important Notice
Before installing the CC edition, please make sure you have uninstalled the Steam version of the APIs first.
If the Steam version was not removed properly, it may overwrite the CC version of the mod.
If still experiencing issues, please consider turning Steam Sync OFF. To change these settings, visit Extensions in the Main Menu — game must not be started yet to access it.
Make sure you have the valid, up-to-date modification turned ON in your game settings ✅
💡 Helpful General Modding Tip!
⚠️ Mod Manager Caution!
While mod managers work fine for most mods and are really convenient, some mods that update automatically (especially economy-heavy or map-changing mods) may brick your save game! ⚠️
❌ Files SHOULDN'T BE OVERWRITTEN, but instead REMOVED COMPLETELY before an update.
✅ Then, manually install the mod before loading your save game.

Mod Support APIs Community Edition
The X4 Mod Support APIs were originally developed to facilitate mod creation for X4 Foundations. Over time, several contributors including SirNukes, bvbohnen, Chryssie, and iomatix have worked on improving and maintaining these APIs. However, with the original author currently inactive, I have taken the initiative to ensure continued updates (here on Nexus) and support for the community.
Given that the APIs are licensed under MIT, I have uploaded the latest community release to keep the project accessible and evolving. This fork is available on GitHub: iomatix/x4-projects. From now on, I will strive to keep the APIs up to date with new stable releases of X4, ensuring compatibility and improvements for modders.
From now on, please report all bugs, either on this repository or on Nexus Mods.
Contributions to keep things up to date are highly appreciated, so feel free to fork the project and contribute!
