I just realised drag was inversely proportional to the rate of rotation (duh), which is why the performance was not what I was anticipating. I didn't test much as there are just too many ships to test. I updated the calculations to give new patch files for all ships, and extended it to include any ship which has a difference between pitch and yaw. So this now includes a few split ships...
I also included the original pitch and yaw in the generated patch files for those who wish to edit themselves.
