    is there any way you could make the reverse engines stronger than just zero engines ? 
    what i mean is, currently, if i set to 0 engines it seems to decellerate at same rate than if i put to full reverse thrusters, can that be tweaked ?

      Wdym by full reverse anyway? The throttle in X4 doesnt dedicate thruster power like in a typical airplane, all it does is set the target speed. SO wether you wanna decelerate to 0 or go to reverse doesnt change the amount of reverse thrust it uses to get there. The idea is that if you wanan use stronger engines thrust you need to do a 180 maneuver and use your main thrusters to break.

    Hey brother, first of all thank you for the mod, i like it very much so far.

    i do have one request, if it´s not too difficult to make, could you maybe add a version where the reverse thrusters arent quite as nerfed ?
    i like the idea behind it but feel that they were nerfed a bit too much

      as a sidenote ; reverse thrust in modern jet engines if used at max capacity generates around 50/60% of their regular maximum thrust..
      i feel like for spacecraft (where reversing is mandatory and part of everiday operations) this would probably be engineered to be even higher... 

      but 60-70% should be good , i assume right now it´s at around 30%

      You know what, please ignore my request; i was using it without VRO at first.
      when you use it along VRO the speeds work very well, this improves the game A LOT.

    Have you tried it ? It might do the same thing you are trying to accomplish

      1. While it somewhat tries to do the same, mine is first of all more modular, while realspace tries to do a lot more at once, e.g. weapon balancing and whatever, which ends up being a complete overhaul which is hence incompatible with other mods
      2. Mine is also made with VRO as a basis which i guess many use.
      3. I dont like certain changes in the other one, e.g. near unlimited
      speeds. That sounds nice on paper but doesnt play well with AI at all. I do intend to keep highways for example a core element of my gameplay.

      The last update of that mod removed the unlimited speed, it was messing with the AI. But I get it, your mod does one thing, I'll give it a try.
      Have you ever tried IWAR 2 ? They have a very good physics engine in this game

    Dude this mod is a game changer- i absolutely love dog fighting(Small fighter) more now. It is now more challenging and require you to have situational awareness and have to put some effort into destroying target.  Missile are now useful to give a tactical advantage over you enemies.

      Well i have just notice that many of S and M ship are now doing INSANE speed- Such as hit 900m/s with regular or 12KM/s in travel. i Love both mod but how can normalize this so my speed are not so high?

      Mod was designed mainly for VRO, are you using that? I can double check other errors if you give me an example of a ship that you think is too fast. I guess if that´s not the main issue, one would need to make this mod particularly for non VRO.

      One example is the Geometry owl, which i think by default flies 900m/s in VRO, probably light fighters being very fast is normal there and mid and L ships are becoming very slow but have more firepower.

      Or maybe you havent enabled BOTH extenesions that come with this mod?
