Provides options to lessen or disable Maintenance, as well as disable any combination of Faction License requirements, Reactive Factions, Ship Limits, and Surgical Strikes.

You can pick either of the maintenance mods and mix and match any combination of the remaining mods.
SWI Less Maintenance - Reduces the maintenance mechanic by ~50%.
Note: Applies on next maintenance cycle or a new game.
Maintenance scales based on the below values.
(Supply cost * CFB Multiplier) = Final Supply Cost

In SWI you pay 2x supply cost once you reach Empire tier. This mod smooths the scale down so that you pay 1x at max size and less jarring jumps along the way.
SWI No HQ Teleport Limit - Allows you to teleport the Player Headquarters more than once.
SWI No Maintenance - Disables the 0.80 maintenance mechanic.
Note: Applies on next maintenance cycle or a new game.
SWI No Reactive Factions - Disables the Reactive Factions mechanic for all factions where you lose reputation with a faction for trading with or otherwise helping their enemies. You can befriend everyone again just like in Vanilla X4.
Note: Applies on next CFB cycle after up to 90 minutes.
SWI No Surgical Strikes - Disables the 0.81 Surgical Strike mechanic where factions will send a fleet behind enemy lines to kill a production station against the player or AI. This sometimes causes weirdness where an XL or larger class ship shows up in an ordinarily safe sector to kill your new solar farm.
SWI No Unit Caps - Disables production limits on the Prototype Executor, Executor, Praetor, Bellator, and TIE Silencer.
Note: Still requires research. Still can only queue 1 per shopping list order, but can build as many orders as you like.
SWI Vanilla Licenses - Disables custom faction licenses mechanic for the major factions. You will no longer need stations and trade volume to get promoted; you get reputation and buy licenses with credits just like Vanilla X4
Why does this mod even exist?
This mod does not exist because I disagree with the SWI team's vision for custom mechanics or even because I wanted these changes for myself. This exists because there is a demand for it and I want those users to have a safe and up to date option that won't generate helpdesk tickets for the team.
Moreover, this mod exists because people far more talented than myself —Shuulo, Kuertee, DeadAir, and the rest of the SWI team— created such an incredible project.
Installation:
Extract the zip file and then copy the relevant "starwarsmod_**" folder to ...\X4 Foundations\extensions\ with the rest of your mods.
These are standalone mods and should not be put inside your "starwarsmod_m1" folder.
Compatibility:
- This mod is for X4 Star Wars Interworlds 0.8x+
- Don't use both Less and No Maintenance at the same time
- SWI No Reactive Factions only applies to factions included in SWI. Additional custom factions would need to be added to the patch file inside.
- Every effort was made to hook into existing "off switches" written into the native SWI scripts. This mod is able to be as lightweight as it is because of the foresight and skill of each script's original author.
