   I looked yesterday to see if there was something in the global orders for a default formation, but I couldn't see anything.
   I always put my fleets into circle formation.
   So now I won't have to keep going into their details to change it. Thank you.   ;-))...

      If you've got a fleet of upto, say 10 Xl or L ships attacking a station, it's the obvious choice.
      Or as I refer to it. "The Circle of Destruction!"
