    I've no idea if you have any interest in doing it but please would it be possible for you to make a version of the mod that remove's only the local highways while keeping the ring and SoD highway's or could you point me in the right direction to make an attempt myself?

      You basically would have to go to Roguey website to look at the map. If you select a sector there, the “cluster” number is located in the URL. From there you can check the files in my mod, delete the remove lines for the highways you want to keep.

      You will have to trial and error the few sectors that have both local and ring highway.

      The Kingdom End and SoD highways are in the extensions folder. Start from the except SoD version since it already doesn’t remove them.

      I have just finished figuring it out and making the edit's and you were right about the trial and error for the local and ring highway, thanks

      AFAIK there were no highway changes in 7.0+. So it should work. Haven’t had anyone say otherwise so far. I’ve used it without issue.

      I tried it on 7.10 H2 and for me it is not working, mod is enabled and started a new universe.

      I’m out of country so I can’t test for a bit, but I can’t imagine they changed it. I can’t confirm or deny atm.

      I tried starting a new game (The Young Gun) and found no highway around Argon sectors.

      Is it perhaps a mod conflict you're experiencing?

    could use an update to keep the highway in nopileos' fortune II.

      it feels like that sector is Long, and alot of the stations there are pretty far away from the gate.

      The only reason I made SoD an exception was due to the hazardous area and how the AI sometimes struggles getting through there.

      if you would like to keep the NFII highways I recommend removing the applicable remove lines with the mod yourself. Discord can probably assist with the exact steps to do so.

      I don’t include any mod added highways. If they are the vanilla highway but moved, it may remove them. But would be dependent on how the modder implemented them.

      ahh okay, thanks for the answer.. had a mod that added a extra system on the super ring highway.. removed that mod now..

      didnt like how the custom starts highway removal also removed the one in sanctuary of darkness.

    How is this better than making a custom game that has no highways?

      A: Allows you to do a non custom start
      B: I’m not sure if custom start lets you do the build highway mission
