About this mod
Skull & Bones is an expansion of Pirate factions. Variety of pirate-owned ships has been diversified and a few new, pirate-unique models have been added.
The goal is to build up on Plundering & Boarding mechanics of the game - players will have opportunities to "liberate" different ships from the outlaws, including their (new) flagship

v1.0 focuses entirely on SCA, Yaki & FAF updates will follow in the future!
Skull & Bones focuses on expanding pirate factions (SCA, FAF, Yaki) by adding new pirate themed ships and expanding Pirate ship rosters with existing ships (including compatibility with other mods!). Pirates will have a slightly stronger presence in the universe and the ships they use will no longer be limited to select few models. Instead, pirate factions will use whatever they realistically would be able to capture and have access to in their area of space.
The mod is safe to enable on an ongoing save / save-compatible.

SCA Galleon XL Carrier --
Flagship of SCA warlords. The ship is a captured, refitted and reworked version of a civilian vessel, with ample carrier capabilities and hilariously unbalanced weapon loadout
SCA Brigantine L Cruiser --
Nothing goes to waste with the pirates! This Frankenstein's monster appears to have been pieced together from parts of destroyed or decommissioned Teladi Carriers and Auxiliaries.Brigantine's armaments are better thought out compared to Galleon's, however, she is not able to support a major flight wing like her bigger mate. As a side effect of being constructed from massive TEL vessels, Brig's cargo hold is unusually large - perfect for raiding parties.As with the Galleon, Brig can only be obtained through boarding action.
SCA Marauder M Corvette --
As the smallest (66.5m) medium-class ship currently found in the Gate Network, the Marauder specializes in attacking smaller foes while running from larger ones with its good agility and comparatively high speed. A varied collection of armaments - a pair of M-class fixed mounts, a single M-class turret, and four S-class fixed mounts thrown in for good measure - gives the ship good striking power against small transporters or enemy fighters, while the surprisingly capacious cargo storage for its size allows SCA freebooters to haul home their spoils. In exchange, the poor shielding, somewhat questionable hull strength, and anemic armament for its weight class leaves the ship with unfavorable odds when facing other corvettes or even a particularly ornery heavy fighter pilot. Nonetheless, its low operating costs and cheap construction price(often made cheaper through the use of written-off Minotaurs, like the original) ensure its place as a mainstay among the Scale Plate Pact pirates.
SCA Blastclaw S Bomber --
Pirates are bringing some firepower! Blastclaw will be capable of launching a single sticky/incendiary bomb that will deal damage over time. Blastclaws will be found escorting large SCA vessels or on solo pirate missions. You will be able to buy blueprints off the SCA representative, however, they will NOT build it for you. Make the dear old rustbucket yourself or make the pilot bail out and claim legitimate salvage like a real pirate!
note: Blastclaw, being the same ship type, is cross-compatible with OTAS Notus' weapons.
