I've noticed a slew of ships have been updated recently to work with the 7.5 updates new flight mechanics/physics. Just wondering if that's something that'll be happening to this lovely selection of vessels? (or is it even needed/possible?)
no need, VRO changes to ship macros were minimal. Most of the changes are on the engine macros, which VRO handles. Some fine-tuning can be done with an update, but it is not critical - the game has fallback values that are used in absence of the new 7.5 macro parameters.
Doesn't look like anyone else has noticed the obvious expanse inspiration! The Astraeus is practically a port of the MCRN Morigan, it looks brilliant! The Tempest feels like a reference Duarte's flagship magnetar class.
Damnit, I really want an expanse ships mod for x4 now...
Love these ships, the boreas has been my flag ship for a while since it's one of the few L ships with a landing pad for medium ships. I wanted to upgrade to the tempest but for some reason it doesn't have any rooms. Not sure if that's a bug but I did look into the "ship_otas_xl_tempest" and it doesn't seem to have "<!-- Rooms -->".
I typically don't bother with rooms as they serve no functional purpose and can even hog a bit of performance. You can add them yourself if you desperately need them. Add this to the fourth line from the bottom of the file (above </connections>) you already looked at:

Maybe the Super Freighter could be the L variant. It it always looked like a smaller Boreas anyway.

Could you make an a la Carte mod that frees up the other weapons to other ships?It is part of Reemergence (always was since I implemented it), not OTAS pack.
