so i installed this mod in a 10h save without doing the quest. i modified the zones files and have 1 whole gate connection in silent witness 1 to atreus' clouds. i'm guessing the quest has to be finished to get to the other 2 gates and make boron be an actual faction? because for me they're still factions adrift or w/e.
Great mod, thank you. Would it be a lot to request a variation where Boron would be connected directly to a Xenon sector? With Getsu Fune they have to share xenons with Antigony and Terrans and don't get enough.
Not sure what I am doing wrong but only the gates in Ocean of fantasy to Getsu Fune work for me, tried deleting the active false bits to work in my current game but not working, I see there are some in active gates in them, do I just put the boron_gates folder in the steam extensions folder ?
There was 3 files to edit right, split one, boron one and one maps folder ?
Edit - I did install via Vortex but tried it again manually and it works
I would love to hear from someone how much Xenon pressure this puts on Watchful Gaze and, by extension, Heretics end... Also, do you think this mod is compatible with Deadair's Gate mod? None of the connections seem to clash but I'm not sure if one would overwrite the other scince they edit the same files.
It's not too hard if you have a decent text editor. Basically look for any of the zones xml files (i.e zones.xml, dlc_boron_zones.xml, etc) and remove <properties> <state active="false" /> </properties>
from the gates before loading your save. For a new save you can just keep the mod as it is.

You have to go through each zones.xml file, and change each gate you want active from "false" to "true".

As for Gate, it should be compatible as both DeadAir and myself use diffs to edit the files.
