Correct, but your comment seems somewhat unrelated to this mod. As I wrote in the mod description, this solution circumvents the hacking software entirely, with two main benefits: (a) no need for extra software/commands/mouseclicks -- flying close to the derelict claims it straight away; (b) no need for pirate rep or risk of police interdiction, obviating the need for SOS/signature scrambler.
