After Xiangli Yao's, it's Jiyan's turn. Before starting, I have to specify that unlike Xiangli Yao, vanilla Jiyan was already a fantastic piece of work from KuroGames at the point I didn't feel drastically changing the mood or his main colors.
That being said, even if at first glance my mod looks like a simple recolor of his hair, it took me the same working time as my Xiangli Yao skin. Why? because I worked on a lot of details to make this guy pop out better, increase the complexity of each asset or just fix some random issues.
- Sole One-sided earring with smaller big ball (There is a version that rolls it back to vanilla on my Patreon)
- Black hair (There is a version that rolls it back to vanilla on my Patreon)
- (Ugly) green scale spots on his left cheek finally removed! (YEAY!)
- Earring "hole" part color adjusted
- Heavy rework on his neck armor part (That was hell of a hard time)
- Right Armband, Thighbands and blelt end moved to golden
- Multiple fitting parts moved to golden (Harness little pieces everywhere)
- New golden stylish heels on his boots, front part is now darker for better aesthetics.
- Some color too off from the chart readjusted (like that blueish grey color moved to light grey)
- White Harness move same as light grey assets (Imho breaking too much the overall palette)
- Fixed a bunch of texture overlapping/glitches/issues/nomalmap/specularmap/lightmap
I hope you guys will notice and enjoy the hard work here. Even if you don't like the dark hair or the single earring, you can reverse back those choices by picking the adequate mod file. But why did I made those choices you will ask? Well listen, to me having the same hair color as the main color of your outfit is a bad taste. And sadly for me (or us?) Kuro does that a lot. It's pretty pathetic on Yuanwu (I'll take care of him later). It makes your character look like a clown or a childish cosplay. Because beside excentric personalities no one does that in reality. As for the double earrings, I think this feminize too much Jiyan. I never liked that, nothing against male earrings, it's just that a single earring is way more badass. And yes I tried the other side btw (I thought at first it would have been better since same side as nude shoulder) but nope, it was breaking the energy. Also you will notice I reduced the size of that big earring ball if you choose my option of a single one.
Simply extract this .rar archive into the mod folder for your XXMI launcher installation. (A custom launcher needed to install mods for Wuthering Waves)
The location should be : C:\Users\Yourpcname\AppData\Roaming\XXMI Launcher\WWMI\Mods
