Any idea on how to eliminate shadow flickering for far objects like trees, buildings, landscapes? Player and NPC shadows look just fine at 2048 but it doesnt seem to affect the world objects.
The only way I found is to set r.Shadow.MaxCSMResolution to 8192 but it is very demanding and will break most of the shadows, causing them to not load at all.
Can happen anywhere, applies to only foliage. Just take a look at any far away trees and their shadows. It will be a large low res blob of shadow flickering aggressively.
Btw new update on steam officially added RTX Shadows now but doesn't seem to apply for foliage maybe for performance reasons.
yeah would be great if you could find a way to enable the RT Shadows also for the foliage etc... before the update it was working with only minor flaws...now it got nerfed quite heavily :(
as soon i add r.RayTracing.EnableRTWPO=1 wich is the main line to get the shadows to work properly the game refuses to start with an error message.. maybe you can find a way?
yeah they broke the reflections with the last update. only "fix" i was able to find was to set the r.Lumen.Reflections.DownsampleFactor to 0 costs a bit performance but the reflections flicker alot less. also if you want you can enable Ray Reconstruction via some engine.ini lines
just add r.NGX.DLSS.RayReconstruction=1 r.NGX.DLSS.denoisermode=1
and place the newest dlss ray reconstruction dll (you can find it on techpowerup) into Wuthering Waves\Engine\Plugins\Runtime\Nvidia\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64 and make it read only.

Samehow just today the download marked suspicious by my laptop. Might be browser problem. 'edited' I do want to thanks for this mod. now i can enable RTX on my laptop without the fan became my speaker.
hey, what changed between the last 2 versions of the rtx configs? how can i tell which version i used to use? here are my old settings

Edit: So i tried every new config in the latest version but my reflections in game are blurry. Going back to previous version as per the ss. Also is FX.BatchAsyncBatchSize=64 needed? Seems like it was removed in the new config 2

Since there's saturation and contrast sliders now I've removed it from the config but if you want the tweaks I did add these commands to Engine.ini.
r.Color.Max=1.1
r.Color.Mid=0.55
r.KuroTonemapping=1

Go to my GitHub there are configs for Android but it's no longer maintained.

r.NGX.DLSS.BuiltInDenoiserOverride=0

r.NGX.DLSS.DenoiserMode=1
do you know how i could stabilize the SSReflections with rayreconstruction? are there commands i could try?
I'm talking about all the new Kuro commands
Everything's perfect when the reflection isn't on-screen, which makes me think this visual issue appears because of the SSR.
Could be artifacts from DLSS, what preset are you using?
They don't show when the camera is high enough.
No DLSS, I'm on native resolution in 2K on a 4080 SUPER.
Here's my preset:
